His wife (my mom’s sister, for those keeping score at home) has more money of her own than he has. So not the case here. Funny enough, like in the pic above, she’s ~3” taller than him! Haha

 

*yes, I realize Rory is more than 3” shorter than her!

I also chuckled that he called his putter a Newport.  As if he’d have one of the engraved circle ts that teaching pros get.  I flip to the pics to find a GSS 009.  That’s like claiming  a VW hit you and run.  When they catch the guy it’s a Porsche panamera turbo.  Cop should slap you in that case .

its also one of the cleanest 009s out there, that minimal but solid choice in stamps makes that thing look super clean. but yeah its just a newport...

Distance is overrated.  Cough cough USGA.  Look what Rory did.  44" driver.  Don't change the ball maximize driver length to 44".  Scotty Putter to boot.  IMO Rory was at his best with Titleist.  2011 Congressional US Open was some kind of golf.

I'm only 6'1" and had my driver cut to 45" but Pau Gasol plays golf. Forcing him into a 44" driver is a dick move.
