With the knowledge that the T-150 is not the same footprint of the T-100, I would love a T-100 T-150 comparison!!!!

Saw in another thread T150 is just the renaming of T100S.

These irons look awesome to combo! However the different finish between models is a HUGE miss aesthetically. Imo

Golf.com published they are larger than the T100, a perfect transition blend into the T20O. We shall see.

I have heard that too, but here is an excerpt from Golf.com article:

 

”This is a big one — like, actually bigger than the T100 — and it looks to be a direct replacement to the T100S, which offered stronger lofts and a more flexible face. How far into the T150 set does the undercut channel extend?

Looks to be a little more seamless transition in the new 150 to 200 than from previous model T100/T100S to T200. I love my T100S PW-6 and T200 5-4 combo, but while they work, the T200's sure do feel awful compared to the T100S. And the top line thickness change could be a little less noticeable. Like everyone else, here's hoping that the T200 appears to have dropped the clickly plastic. Damn Titleist, just when I think my bag is set for a while they are going to stoke the hoe fire in me again haha.

I was told the T150 is not an exact replacement/rebranding for the T100s.  I think maybe my source knows more than they were willing to share or maybe not but I asked some specific questions as a T100s lover and I was led to believe the 3 iron thru 7 iron in the T150 aren't exactly like the T100s version. My source saw the heads in person a couple of weeks ago but didn't get to hit them as they were just heads in a case brought to show them.   I was told the size is a little bigger than T100s and the channel is no more but I couldn't get any real facts.

I think we are going to find out that the T150 is going to be a similar club to the Ping i230.  Players look.  Little bit wider sole.  Slightly larger head.  More forgiveness.  Higher launch.  If so I think it's a smart move and fits a gap they can't really serve right now.  Will be insanely popular if that's what this is.

Titleist website even states the new line up. T100, T150, T200, T350. Slightly larger T100 sounder like a winner to me.

Generally, I am not a Titleist iron fan.

 

But the 150 has grabbed my attention.

Titleist's fat hosel transition to the topline is a pet peeve for me.  Looks great otherwise.

I wonder the same thing.   Especially with Titleist, it seems that the players clubs get satin, but the GI ones get more of the chrome, and I'm not sure why.

 

About the only thing I can think of is that they may want a T200 (or gasp, a T350) long iron in a pro bag to be easily recognized to help give it some validation.   But even that feels like a reach.

 

Maybe they know that T1xx fans tend to upgrade more frequently, but it's less so for the T2xx and T3xx and the chrome finish to some looks tired faster?

 

If a Titleist Q&A happens I need to remember to ask about this.
