Greatest Drivers of The Past Decade?

I’ve seen a few similar posts in recent years, but wanted to get a fresh thread going.

What are the best drivers of the past decade in your opinion? Ones that can keep up with or surpass 2023 options. Always hear the 2016 m2, g400 lst, SIM 1 mentioned, but curious to see if there’s a general consensus on other models as well.

I had an itch for a new driver a few months ago and went in for a fitting. Couldn't find anything that was outperforming by current G400 (standard model) so it stayed in the bag.

Agreed. I've had this M2 in the bag for years, and I went to get fit for a new driver last year, and nothing beat it out. Changed shafts but kept in the M2. Thing is legit

I haven't hit enough offerings to know what the best would be, but, I'll say that I am very content with my Callaway Epic Speed paired with the Hzrdus Smoke shaft.  I also had a Ping G10 that was a bomber.

I feel drivers have made a bit of a leap forward in the past 5 or 6 years. For me nothing keeps up with the Paradym Triple Diamond so if I tried to match it I would look relatively recently. The Mavrik Sub Zero is very long. So is the Rogue ST LS. Cobra’s drivers are really good. Usually go cheap on the resell market too. 
 

I think SIM2 beats the TaylorMade M1 and M2. I found SIM2 easier to hit accurately. With Ping I agree with previous poster that the G400 lineup remains a contender. The current Titleist TSR lineup is the best group of drivers they’ve ever released IMO so those are going to cost more. The TSR2 is very likely what I would play if not for the Paradym TD.

Interesting. I cannot seem to find a shaft combo for the callaway TD heads. Had a Rogue ST TD head last year and could never seem to get the build right. Gave me my fastest ball speeds when I hit it on the screws, but my dispersion was awful.

How does it compare to Aerojet Ls if you’ve tested that? It’s my current build and I can’t seem to get it in the window I want.

Aerojet looks and maybe feels a bit better but wasn’t better in #s. I did not swap shafts and put my Daytona in the Aerojet head. F9 was even still longer but possibly was shaft

 

and I’m not a Cobra guy at all. TSR3/4 have been the closest to outing the F9

I'd vote SLDR. It took me 5-6 years to replace the SLDR that I got when the TM tour truck came around PGA store near Ridgewood CC.  

 

OG Callaway Epic is the driver that first unseated SLDR.

G400 lst for me and its not even close, a true unicorn of distance and forgiveness. I have hit drivers further by a little, maybe 5-10 yards but they offer nowhere near the same stability so never last.

I would cast my vote for the Rogue ST Max driver.  I have tried to replace it with Paradym, TSR2 and 3, G430 Max, ST-Z 220 and 230, and it still wins out.

Standard Mavrik is a gem of a head, I think Paradym TD must be the spiritual successor based on how people rave about that.
