Titleist T150s are gonna be all-timers

What’s the wait time these days for titleist irons? I ordered 6-gw in the t150s and a 5 iron in the t200 on dec 12th from DSG. 1 inch long and 2 upright with stock grips. Amt white tour x100 black onyx shafts. I received the 5 iron on the 22nd. The t150s still show processing. I have a golf trip on January 31st and assume they should arrive by then right?

Has anyone been able to compare head to head the t150 vs t200 utility build as a 4 iron replacement or even 3 iron (19 deg) as mini driving iron ?

I dont need help with distance but looking for something a little more forgiving and always tinkering with 5 wood / hybrid etc as a 230 -240 club

Variable being graphite shaft with different weight and feel in utility head vs same iron shaft in a t150

i was able to hit the t150 4 iron off a mat and liked it but didn’t have my normal shaft on there.  I hit t200u off of grass with bonded shaft in a different session so wondering peoples experience here

I don’t get along with thicker soles irons so built a t150 4 iron with hzrdus smoke black 80 hybrid shaft and bent one degree strong. It works for me. Never liked the spin with higher lofted hybrids and needed more help to get the height and carry with the long iron so used hybrid shaft.

My order went in the same day from a rep, received the 6-G on 12/22, but a bit more basic, LZ and 1 flat

Okay, I have now played 2 rounds back to back with my new Titleist T150/T200 combo. Even though they were really soggy and wet rounds I do have to say....I am now a believer. The T150s are awesome! Nice forgiveness on mishits and the feel on the course is really good. They fly nice and high and carry the distances that I get indoors on good strikes. The 48° GW is awesome as well. It's definitely a weapon for me from 115-120 out. I've also been able to hit the T200 4 and 5 irons nice and high with stopping power (using a prov1 ball). With a stock push draw, yesterday hit my T200 5i to 11ft over the flag from 180 out when it was 50° out and wet. The greens were also a tad soft but it hit and released maybe a few feet. The 6iron has actually been my most consistent club so far, been able to hit it to 170-173 consistently. Really impressed with the set so far. Great look and feel and performance is really good so far. Curious to try them out on a dryer course day and see how they do. I am curious how much more forgiving the T200 is over the 150. Maybe when I get a bit more consistent with the 4 and 5 i can give those a try as well.

I paired all these t150 and t200 heads with modus 120stiff shafts and at standard lengths. The build came in a nice progressive d2-d4 swingweight (from 4i to GW) without the use of any tip weights with the exception of the 9iron, which was the only iron I had to use a tip weight as it came in a bit light.

What are you coming from? And did you find you gained distance?

That was the biggest thing for me i saw, and consistently still see.....I am 5-7yds longer per iron with these, even comparing to older sets with the exact same loft, length and shaft

I am coming from a combo set of P770/P7MC (at P770 lofts). I am just not good enough to hit the P7MC yet. Before that I was playing the Cobra King Tours, which I would bet would be a good battle for these T150s.

Hitting those P7MC is pure bliss though! But i would bet same lofts you'd hit the T150 a bit further.

I loved the P7MC though

Shows the potential power of playing the right clubs (if in fact those distances are right for you)

Was playing Mizuno Mp20MB with DGTIS400 shafts.  They were very accurate and consistent and felt great but switching to a players CB with softer lighter shafts along with stronger lofts made a huge difference.

I was able to contact Titleist today. T150 heads are on back order with no ETA. It would have been nice to know that when I ordered them on Dec 12th. I’m definitely frustrated by this news since I have a golf trip at the end of this month.

I got fitted on December 11th by a Titleist fitter and had the new clubs in hand on December 13th at the end of the day. Yes, you read that correctly 2 days. I’ve never had such a fast turn around on clubs and everything was on point spec wise.  I do live about an hour away from Carlsbad, but still unbelievable. The fitter told me that all Surefit fittings have priority and go to the top of the list. I thought that was a sales pitch until the fedex box arrived.  Needless to say I’m a Titleist homer.

Set up: T200 5 iron (1 degree weak / 1 degree flat)

Got a fitting in a couple weeks. Did anyone get the T150 irons bent 2degrees weak? I would like to dial them back a bit. Match the T100 lofts.

Currently have the T100S bent 2 weak and distance I get now is perfect.

Not sure I want to switch from the T100S?

Your preferences are your preferences, but I highly doubt T150 2 degrees weak would be ideal. My trackman numbers had the T150 peaking at 110' with a 90mph clubhead speed, as compared to my previous set (2019 T100) peaking at 90 feet/90chs. The only reason I would see to bend these 2 degrees weak would be if someone was REALLY struggling to get the ball airborne.

I get the ball airborne easily with my current T100S. My club head speed with the 7i is about the same 90-91. Just have to see what happens in the fitting.
Did you end up with the T150?

I called today and they said the earliest they will ship is Jan 31st. That’s the date my flight was scheduled to leave. So now I have to cancel the flight and eat the cancellation costs. I like titleist products, but their customer service and logistics are terrible in this experience. Be upfront with the customer when they are ordering and let them know you have no idea when the components will be in stock. I’ll be looking elsewhere for my future golf equipment purchases.

What about the distance? Bit more?

I got about 12 yards, but think some of that was moving from X100 to PX 6.5. I would figure about a 1/2 club of distance could be attributed to the clubhead.

good enough for me.  i liked the PX LZ 6.0 in the T100S.  Ill likely pick up a set stock.  I bought the I230 without hitting them.  Used 1 round before hand injury and they were pretty awesome too.

I do not either.  I played blades for so long I need that min sole.  z545/585's where huge.  785/z7's weren't much easier, but manageable.

I am back to my trusty Wilson v6's which has me thinking CB's or d9's.

But I like the sound of these.

- Something that continues to go long off the tee in the fairway
- Something that is a fairway finder when needed and long
- Something that high, consistent and helps with par 5’s
-  Something to help with long par3’s and short par 4’s

-  Something metal, lots of them and go the gaps I need
- Something metal, 2x of them and helps me 120y and in
- Putters - limited rotation because I cannot afford misses

Golf is what you make of it.  Play grateful and accepting. We are all lucky to have it.

Rather than expecting lets all try and appreciate instead.
