The window is m odd. I thought maybe the glass was there because they discovered a different feel with it in, but to learn that it’s just there to be able to see the inside of the back of the face is strange. Plus it’ll get dirty and get scratched/smudged then not look good

How does the back of a cavity get scratched?  It doesn't touch the ground when used as designed.

 

I am sure it is designed to not crack.

Thank you.  Does a credit card edge on the face raise up as well?  If so, I would ask for a refund. 

 

Not surprised with Quality issues in any product.  Hope it isn't widespread.

O ya I took it back and was refunded. Wanted to replace, but they all had something going on in different spots. Going to wait it out about as I absolutely love the putter.

The last few rounds I've played have been on super sandy greens from aerification.  Wouldn't do much other than lean on my putter to pick my ball up or rest it against the ground and sand would end up all over the face and bottom.  Not too much of a stretch to think it could get inside the cavity

That is a stretch.  IF sand ends up there, only the user would be able to apply enough force to potentially scratch a surface.  User issue, not a design issue.

Seen them rolled them.. heres my take. Both models felt the same to me. They both felt and sound good but imo not better then anything else ive ever putt with or worse. Just good. They look ok. The gold model looks slightly better and more premium but the feel imo still doesnt feel premium to me. Both feel the same to me. Ive hit other odysseys that have felt the same or better at cheaper prices. The window thing i didnt like personally and thought was pointless but i guess they are trying something new. Yes it rolled out nicely off the toe and heel but centered putts still came up short sometimes just like.... all my other putters. Ive hit on perpous heel and toe with my other putters and guess what... same result rolled to the hole better then expected. So i just think its a marketing thing imo. Otherwise... they are nice putters and i think if i was going to get one which i wont i have too many lol i would get the ch7 or the three T model. Not a diss on oddysey because i love oddysey and have a few just sayin what i felt.

I got to mess around with the milled AI Three T S putter. 
 

One of the best feeling putters I’ve ever rolled. Amazing feel. Super smooth/buttery feel but firm at the same time. Great feedback in terms of sound, a nice muted click. 
 

It puts a nice roll on the ball too. Head is stable throughout the stroke. 
 

It’s a perfect size for me, a good mid-mallet size, not too big and not too small. The quality of the make was great too, super fine milling.
 

Callaway/Odyssey have knocked this one out of the park.

Maybe this has been discussed but what is the material of the non milled insert? I thought it was white hot but after testing it didn’t feel anything like a white hot insert.

I'd imagine the normal wear and tear on the putters sole would be more noticible?

 

 

I do wonder why the cavity hasn't been filled? I'd imagine it would impact the sound.

I've been a 2-ball (Ten and Eleven) lover. The triple alignment on the Eleven T with the smaller "mini" head is a great combo so far. Body seems a little deeper too, but that might just be my perception.

I preferred the white ai face as far as feel went.  My distance control was much better with the gold milled ai face.  The milled ai face seemed to come off a little slower and more consistent.  Both inserts were flush with the face.  A friend of mine that works at a golf store said most of their inserts were not flush.

Lmao my exact thoughts during the whole round. And then I put the pants I wore for the round on this morning for work after washing them, reached into my pocket and there was still sand in them

Bc they've gone from a club manufacturer to an entertainment brand that happens to sell golf clubs. It's so disappointing.

I hate to keep knocking on this line, but hey that's why we're here. Haha. It's amusing to have an "AI" face with intricate designs behind the face to stabilize ball speed when you can see with the naked eye that the insert itself isn't installed flush onto the face.

I rolled both the milled and white hot face versions the other day. They felt good, nothing ground breaking IMO. Also didn't see the 22% consistency increase or whatever they are slinging but that was to be expected with a small sample size.

Tried both the milled and the white face insert putter. Milled feels good, the white face models did not feel good to me at all.  Didn’t notice a bit of difference with the AI face at all (that I could measure).  Will be passing on this putter line

Just rolled the entire line at Carls. The milled 8 was probably my favorite of the bunch, but the overall package just doesn't do it me. Feel is good but PLD, Mizuno, other milled options feel better. Wish the milled putters had more heft to them.  The callaway grip is still a piece of trash, it boggles my mind they they find that acceptable on a $450 putter. 
 

the window on the white hot models is literally the dumbest gimmick I've ever seen on a putter. Super cheesy. It feels like a white hot if you like the marshmallow feel.
