I put the driver in my cart.   Really just wanted to try it, sell it without the head cover even - but I can't.    I like my current driver too much to even bother with it.

Most likely.  Corners had to be cut in order to be under that $200 price point.

Yep...the only thing that is missing from a full bag of Kirkland clubs are fairway woods and possibly hybrids.

It’s an Evenflow Riptide Shaft, absolutely nothing special about it. They aren’t cutting corners,  I’m guessing just an overstock made for shaft like all the other manufacturers use for their base options. The Riptide was a base option for Callway Mavrik drivers and PXG still use it as a base option for their drivers.

Yeah the shaft is irrelevant imo. The first thing when that sucker arrives is to pull that adapter out and put it in one of my spare shafts

Stop being a sissy ... go to autoflex .  Your driver shaft should be 6x more expensive than the head attached at the end of it

Not to derail this thread, but if the $199 price point is your goal, PXG has a holiday special of Gen 4 and 5  as well as the 0211 drivers for $199.

You could buy the Kirkland, take the evenflow out and sell it on fleabay for $2.99 with free shipping, and Costco would still take the return for the driver head only.
