I bought this new back in '98 I think. I haven't used another putter since I bought it. These pics are after a DIY finish I did last winter.  It's currently at BOS getting the face re-milled, and a new oil can finish. I have a KBS GPS shaft waiting for it.

Not a gamer but will never leave the stable.  My first ever custom. Mannkrafted  Rattler XL.  Stainless Inlays. I keep it in good shape. Roll it from time to time.

I've always loved the shape and flow of a Ping Zing styled putter.  This is Byron Morgan's take on the Ping MyDay design, called the Epic Day, but was modified with a flow neck (Long Pipe neck).  I never could get used to looking down on the sharp angles of a Plumber's Neck and prefer the softer lines of a flow neck.  This putter has been in my bag for all but one summer since September 2014.  I gamed a Byron Morgan DH89 for the summer of 2021 but went back to the Epic Day.  This is a carbon steel putter plated in Copper, around 350g and gripped with a Salty Cork Putter grip and is 34" in length.

Came out originally in the early 80's, I believe (Anser 4).  I had one of these in the bag as early as 1985 in college.  Kept mine until just a couple years ago.  They just got too light...  At the end, I had three strips of lead tape on the bottom...

This has been my favorite putter ever since I saw it. Such a perfect shape and unique finish. I wish David would offer that (along with a Flat T) in lefty!! This putter and Zac Blair's old Scotty blade are two that I covet haha.

 

I love that it's got a few signs of wear to show you game it. Did Josey do that neck? It looks like his work. He nails those polished pipe necks and tight welds.

Not to sound like a creep, but I often think about your putter!  I recall you posting it years ago - and I believe I called dibs if you ever wish to sell! - and have never seen another like it since.  Anytime I see Byron Morgan listed in a BST ad, I open the page in hopes that it’s your putter!

Thank you! Dave absolutley nailed his iteration of the dalehead. Zac blairs scotty is my favorite putter putter. If the flat t had a tri-sole i’d pick one up too to swap between this one. 
 

This photo was taken a few months after i bought it and it’s my only putter so has a lot more wear now, mostly in the sole but i take good care of it. Great eye, Josey did do the neck and it made a great putter absolutley perfect!

They both nailed it. I wish David could spin a neck like this , but the end result from both makers is perfect.
