Titleist Woods 2024

Anyone got some early info on the new Titleist woods. All I know is that that will be released in July to the public. And of course “they’re going to be great” . 
All this 10k business are they gonna follow suit? Or they going to beat to their own drum and do their thing. They have stayed away from the carbon.

Pretty excited to see what they got because I love my TSR’s not sure how much better it can get. IMO

Not sure what they could or should do differently to be honest. They have 4 drivers that all serve a different purpose and they all seem to do well in their categories.

July? By released do you mean just revealed? I thought they weren't available for purchase until late August

Typically fall release for the new woods.

Any idea why they wait so long to release? It seems like it would make more sense to release and get sales for the typical golf season instead of the end?

Usually Titleist is a fall release.

Nothing new here.  Sell enough golf balls to support your entire business and R&D budget.  Leverage your cult following, and if you innovate and improve performance, you get in non-staffers' and amateurs' bags.

If you have no affiliation to Acushnet and didn't sign a NDA then they can't go after you. It's essentially hear say.

Do they need to?  the TSR line is still as good as anything out there for their target market from what I can tell.  I'm sure next spring they'll come out with something claiming more forgiveness and speed but i'm still pretty happy with TSI to be honest.

Exactly, information is “leaked” here on a daily basis. Unless you disclose a specific relationship with a company or provide images not cleared for public circulation, it’s up to the reader to decide if the information you provide is credible or a bunch of hogwash.

That’s what I thought too. From what I was told June to the staff and July to the public. No much information though

You'll normally see the new woods on here in tour bags in July, fittings and preorders in August.

REALLY looking forward to the fall and learning what is coming from Titleist!  I really like how Titleist has a two year cycle which gives them just enough time to move the needle a little bit.  Its tough to see big improvements but I did enjoy going from TSi to TSR.  Can't wait!

It's an every 2 year cycle. With TSR being their new clubs for '23, the fall release will be there new clubs for '25. Went from TSR3 to G430 LST (couldn't get rid of this club fast enough), to the TSR2. Best driver I've ever gamed. Excited to see the next batch.

TSR line came up the week of the Travelers Championship which was right after the US Open in the summer. I caddied in the pro am and Lee Hodges was hitting the new line for the first time.

As a long time Titleist driver player I had a very similar experience. Curious what all the hype was about so tried Ping. I think it has a lot to do with the massive difference in feel/sound between the two. And I’ve never felt the Titleist 2 drivers weren’t friendly enough. So it was a no brainer for me.

I have a buddy that’s a Titleist fitter I spoke to a few weeks ago when I was just talking to him about shafts and other companies drivers. He said there were a few tour players testing it and it was really solid. I didn’t dive into tech stuff with him but he always shoots it straight with me and told me how it was. Titleist usually releases their driver in the fall so sept/october.

hoping they do it travelers week again, I was doing walking scorer, it was sure fun seeing these guys hit it first out of everyone else

My +4.0 cap tells me no retail next-TSR this yr. I guess you'll see.
