My Qi10 came in today, and it sounds fantastic.   I don't have a high SW low 80's but our Director of Golf was hitting it as well at his 117 speed and it sounded incredible.  Best sounding TM driver I've heard.   He even said it was so much better than the Stealth which he never moved to, he still has the Sim2, but probably not for much longer 🙂

Had a friend who at Titeist last week and they had some of the PGA guys hitting it and they wanted it immediately.  As of a lot of posts have stated, fall release.  I don't think there are a lot of changes but the tweaks they have made has had really good feedback.  I am sure there will be some leaks or pics in the coming months but I like Titleist and the 2 year cycles they have.  They make quality equipment and I don't have to buy yearly - LOL

Willing to share if it's another iteration of the TS line or something new? Or will Titleist assasinate you for it?

Wasn't the "TS" naming convention supposed to be connected to the Titleist Speed Project -- which they touted in these videos as a six-year, three-release effort that was completed with the TSR series? 

 

I have no idea what they'll do. But based on that branding, I'd guess maybe they'd get away from "TS(whatever)" and go with something new this fall.

I honestly don't know.  He told me it was the new TSR line.  Not sure what that means - I am sure they won't call it TSR again, but I can tell you that there aren't radical changes.

Is it just me, or does anyone think Titleist should go back to the number name? It would be cool to see the 925 name for the new line. But thats just me. 
 

With the rate were going at and the traction the TS sub-brand has made, sounds like the TSX (as previously mentioned) makes the most sense (even if it sounds like an Accura car)

I’m in the “rose by any other name smells as sweet” camp. As in, I couldn’t care less what they call it. The good news is, it’s Titleist so we know it’s not gonna be something lame like “smoke” or “Rocketballz”!  Haha

OEMs love the letter "X" so I'll go with TSX2 and TSX3. And they'll market it as "extreme distance" and "extreme forgiveness."

So far in this thread it’s been insinuated that the next woods are special and we should be excited and wait for them to come out rather than buy now. We’ve also had people say not to expect any big changes. Oddly enough, this is why I enjoy this place so much. The speculation is more fun to me these days than the actual releases!

The lady in charge of metal woods development at Titleist said in one of their videos that Titleist has only accomplished 15% of what they are planning

Oh gawd. Currently gaming the TSR (the whole line, driver, 3FW and 5FW), just upgraded my shaft, and am tweaking my swing to optimize it. I generally do not like superlatives, but I can say that this is without a doubt the best driver I've ever played (especially with a light Ventus TR). Suitably long, but (most importantly) insanely responsive and workable. It behaves. It likes me (as weird as that sounds). I visualize what I want it to do, and it just does it. Little micro-tweak in grip and stance, and I can do a 45* draw, or 90* cut around a dogleg. I've never felt this much confidence standing over a ball on the tee. 

 

Thought I had finally found my perfect driver. And then Titleist teases this. They are evil 🤣. Of course I'll need to try it.

For the first time in my golfing life, I feel like a club is actually safe in the bag. The TSR3 is perfect in my opinion. Looks, sound, feel, adjustability, performance. It's absolutely a total package. I truly have no idea how they could make it better. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'll be the first in line to try out the new guy 😂, but they're gonna have to pry this one from my cold dead hands lol

I know "feel" is subjective, but not only does TSR3 outperform everything else, it also feels like a driver should.  Only knock on this club is that it does not have world class weight/spin adjustability like a PXG for example.  Other than that, it is perfect in every conceivable way you could categorize a driver

I wasn’t referring to the X but Titleist doesn’t make outlandish distance and forgiveness claims.  The key there for those not paying attention is the word outlandish.

I like this conversation so I’m going to chime in, a vast majority of OEM’s claim longer distance and forgiveness every single year, we all know this, with TM and Callaway being the most aggressive…
 

Titleist does the exact same but they do it in an honest way, they promote getting fit to see the difference, PXG is gaining my respect in this regard too.

I’m probably beating a dead horse by saying this but I think companies need to put more focus on consumer fittings over anything, instead of just straight up claiming longer distance and forgiveness off the rack, a quality fitting will result in more distance and forgiveness and in turn, will create returning customers. 
 

Anyways, I’m going to crawl back into my hole and cry for the next 24 hours because my Lions are not in the Super Bowl.

Okay, I’m about to “tell on myself”. I had the same thought as @Carolina Golfer 2 initially. I mean, as a long time Titleist driver guy, it’s just not how I perceive their marketing. Was about to post essentially the same thing CG 2 did “if you know Titleist, not their style”. Thankfully (well not that it matters now) I went to thier site to confirm and I saw the exact same tag line you posted! 😜
