Okay, I’m about to “tell on myself”. I had the same thought as @Carolina Golfer 2 initially. I mean, as a long time Titleist driver guy, it’s just not how I perceive their marketing. Was about to post essentially the same thing CG 2 did “if you know Titleist, not their style”. Thankfully (well not that it matters now) I went to thier site to confirm and I saw the exact same tag line you posted! 😜

It’s Jim Nantz’s voice that throws you off.

Yeah. Ok. I’ll admit I was a bit off as.well.  You were right thought they do it in a way that’s not beating you over the head with it. So subtle that at least two of us didn’t realize it.

I’m going with that as my reason and sticking to it 😬

It's an every 2 year cycle. With TSR being their new clubs for '23, the fall release will be there new clubs for '25. Went from TSR3 to G430 LST (couldn't get rid of this club fast enough), to the TSR2. Best driver I've ever gamed. Excited to see the next batch.

I did the exact opposite.  Went from the TSR2 (low hook machine) to the TSR3 (good, but nothing special) to the G430 LST.  Best driver I've ever used.  I guess that's why different companies make clubs.  No one size fits all...

People are saying, and by people I mean me, that the new drivers will have an "X" in the name but won't be called "TSX."

Similar to what they did with the "TS" series, new the series will be called "TX."  Followed by "TXi" and "TXr."

You heard it here first from people (aka, me).

I just wish Titleist didn't wipe out the previous models from their retail offerings when a new one comes out. I'd be all over a semi-discounted TSR when this year's iteration drops. I can't see them changing much, best looking drivers on the market imo

Wasn't able to get much out of a source I was talking to recently, but he did say photos were "scheduled to leak" in May, he'd have them in June and they'll be shipping / actually available in August.

He also said everyone is really excited about the lineup.

Not much new information, but I found the whole idea of a scheduled leak to be 😆

I am unbelievably excited, I really can’t wait

I mentioned this in the first post July/ Aug and was told otherwise from everyone else.

I have heard same timing...fittings starting in mid July with launch in Aug time frame.  More in line with the irons release timeline from last year.  Can't wait to see how they improve from the TSR line.

hey planned leaks/controversy are all part of the game plan to build buzz, but hilariously that marketing team or hired consultant has to pitch a "leak" No such thing as bad news!

You didn’t realize it because that’s not outlandish marketing claims. “Ultimate distance” is pretty general and just implies they’ve made it as good as possible. Which is also true

I've played Titleist drivers for the past 13 years.  Finally gave my TS3 away (good driver) and picked up a like new TSi3.  The 9 degree went almost too low; could hardly get it in the air even with a high launch shaft.  It had no pop compared to my TS3.  That's with 114mph swings.  Picked up a Paradym triple diamond on a whim and holy cow it's a rocket.  It's a good 5-10 yards longer and super forgiving.  I really hate the looks of it compared to Titleist but I'm a convert for now.  Looking forward to the new release as I still have some nice shafts with Titleist adapters.

Sounds more like a bad head. The TSi3 was better in every single way compared to my TS3.

For what it’s worth, I scheduled a fitting at TPI for early August and the coordinator said he is quite confident the new metal wood family should be available by that time.

However, that doesn’t necessarily mean the same for all the other Club specific Team Titleist fittings.

I also had a TS3 and loved it, got a TSi3 and I really struggled with it. Really unforgiving and didn't feel as hot... anyways then went to a TSR2 and my mind was blown. Really long and better than the TS3 and TSi3 in every way for me. I was worried that the 2 may spin too much but not the case at all. Looks lovely behind the ball too. If you can't stand the way the Callaway looks, give the TSR2 a go at your usual loft

I love my TSR3 driver and FW....I agree that they're the best that Titleist has released so far. That being said, the only thing I don't care for is how the face looks closed. Maybe it's just the paint line. I wouldn't have my feelings hurt if they made it look neutral or open. I'm sure they'll stick with what they've got though....and then I'll buy it anyway.

Have you tried the B1 or C1 setting?  I use those in the 5w for that reason.
