The DUW is highly intriguing as well. A club with a CG that far forward and only 13* of static loft must be a serious "piss missile" dispenser.

I want that 23* so bad. Xander use to have a Mavrik SZ 7 wood from the tour van that I desperately wanted as well. X gets all the cool stuff.

It's usually the guys that are exceptionally long off the tee that put them in the bag and benefit the most.  The longer you are, the bigger the distance gap between driver and 3/5 metal so it makes sense for these  guys to put a mini driver/2 metal in their bag to close the large distance gap.  The longer guys pretty much don't need to hit 3 metal off the deck either so it makes even more sense to put something in the bag that can be a bit more accurate for them off the tee compared to the big dog.

While not a mini driver I would say that 95% of other golfers would benefit from a short-shaft driver in 440 or 460cc.

I agree.  Stock drivers off the rack tend to be way too long in length these days.
