The complaint isn’t about the access to free streaming. It’s about moving over to the paid service during prime time when the three best players in the world are making the turn. They could have done early Peacock coverage then let the major network see out the round when the big 3 were on the course. But nope, we will use this as an opportunity to boost our POS streaming option that nobody likes or cares about. Thanks!

I really don’t miss seeing Tyrell Hatton’s whining and carrying on.  He’s back in our lives for one day and he’s already wildly gesticulating when he misses short putts, as if the earth moved and threw his perfect putt off line.  What a tool.

This is the right take. Easy to forget that PGA golf is nothing more than a business with the sole purpose of generating income. The sense of entitlement that it should be provided for free with endless coverage is remarkable.

this is almost a boring golf course ... only two par fives ... long par fours ... everyone trying to avoid the edges ... long, hard slog through a long, boring golf course with fast/firm conditions ... i personally love every minute of it ... they have to realize they're in for a difficult journey ...

Seemed strange to me that the dawn patrol announce team the last two days with Rich Lerner and Curt Byrum has been better (excepting Machine-Gun MacKenzie roving the course) than the Terry Gannon/Notah Begay and Steve Sands/Gary Koch team following them (which are also saddled with Ms. Machine-Gun).  Begay and, surprisingly, Koch drag the two PxP guys down. Using Koch as a main-chair analyst means we hear a lot more of him, and for me that weighs the broadcast down as I prefer him in small doses, though he is still better than Begay.

Begay will have a job as long as TW plays, other that that he is useless, he tries to exploit his friendship with TW for TV purposes, but there are people a lot closer to TW than he ever was
