Beautiful work.

Has everyone been made good or are there still outstanding issues?

I wont order if people are still having issues getting a refund or a putter.

I am sure the owner(s) fully intend to do the right thing but if they need more time I am willing to wait until they get everything up and running.

I still have not gotten my refund. I still feel like Dave intends to refund everyone, but the false promises and ignored emails are starting to get to be a little much. After never responding to the email that I sent around Thanksgiving after his post here, I was finally able to get a hold of Dave after talking to Jimmy at 303 Milled about 2 months ago. Dave told me that I should have my refund within 1 or 2 weeks, but since then I have not been able to get a hold of him and I have not received my refund. I understand that it must be very hard to get back on your feet after going through bankruptcy, and I truly believe that he intends to pay me and everyone else back, but I would really appreciate getting an honest response rather than false promises and ignored emails.

Yes, I hope my comment didn't make it sound like you had anything to do with my transaction, since you did not.

 

Just to clarify, I only contacted Jimmy since I thought that he might be able to help me get in touch with Dave at Machine, as I know he has machine putters on his site. Jimmy was in no way involved with my original transaction, he was just kind enough to try to help me get my refund. I am very grateful for the help Jimmy gave me, as he had nothing to do with Machine owing me money.

Thought I would share my latest score..... You guys and gals saw the 1st of this pair earlier ....now Thanks to my Buddy Adler( infamous shank) I was able to procure the #2 of 2 made ART Proto that is the mate to my #1of2 ...... Now dubbed "Thing 1 and Thing 2" lol ... This one is a Raw Carbon M10 Fixer with Stainless Long plumbers neck . It Features one of the most colorful torch finishes ive ever seen ... From a deep purple face to the best looking golden honey hue on the back and bumpers.... Top all that off with another , more textured Mokume Face insert and what you have is a pair of the most beautiful Dale head Ansers on earth. i am very new to the Machine world.. But i have to say im in love with the quality of these two...they are just perfect. sorry to gush so ... I just feel very lucky to be able to get these and complete the pair!

most models have the removable hosels.... only some which have welded necks dont .... and yes they work as advertised.. very nice tight machining.. you can literally have 1 putter and make it into around 15 different looks by swapping out the neck..

Not only that but my M2A can go from a regular putter to a arm lock putter, change the back from mallet Megalodon to a classic newport, change the loft as well. As well as changing shafts with different necks like a shaft with a long custom twisty neck, to one with a rincon, or one with a regular plumbers...its limited by what you get, really,

 

The flexibility of Daves design is the reason why I bought into the MACHINE putters, it literally is the real life "Transformers" of the Putter world

I see a lot of the TM replaceable face wedges on fleabay but no faces.

The concept is great but the parts have to be available.

I would want to get all of the options up front just to make sure I had them.

Are the optional pieces available OTR so to speak or do you need to order them and then they are made?

Yes you can get different necks pretty easy. Doesn't get too expensive till you get to the crazy materials etc. Pm inbound.

I thought the same thing. I saw 2 sellers on the bay selling Machines in Plano, TX offering custom options, length, grip and whatnot a few months back.

Can you change the neck on the M1a fixer. It looks like it has a screw under the hosel area on the sole.

you should be able to if it has the screw. Sometimes The heads are epoxied and unless the bond is broken it won't come off. T15 torx bit to remove the screw.

You get them through machine. ..everything is "custom" but they may have a few standaRd pieces ready to order.

 

They aren't crazy expensive either. A new neck may cost like 1/5th of the total putter cost.

As one who has spent the past 24+ years working with debtors in the Ch 11 process, my heart goes out to you IG!! A refund was due TWO MONTHS ago????

My attorney Buds and I call this the "Debtor's DoD(Dance of Deceit)" and without casting an opinion, because without court issued/submitted documentation, there is absolutely no information in this thread from the debtor on which to base a legitimate opinion, however IG's post is screamin at me, and while I may be half blind, I am not deaf, and in the Ch. 11 world, we say that THE ONLY debtor words that speak or are worth listening to are ACTIONS, so I would just say to those who are contemplating getting involved, I would be very very very very very careful here :)

Sound advice. I also notice the dogleg right web site hasn't changed for quite a while. It has said new site coming soon since I started checking several months ago..

Funny to say but Ebay seems the safest way.
