In the third round yesterday, she picked her ball up on the green and didn't put it back in the right place.

A TV viewer called in and the LPGA gave her two strokes for the mis-placed ball and two more strokes for signing an incorrect scorecard. Took her from a 2 stroke lead two trailing by 2 strokes with a couple holes to go - in a major tourney.

Talk about soul-crushing. Just wow.

And I just turned the TV off. Pure crap.

Me too. It will be a long time before I watch an LPGA event again.

Four strokes for replacing your ball half an inch to the side in a previous round, plus the mental state she'll be in for the rest of the round, that's rough.
