cant believe no one has mentioned the OG Titleist PT*!!! I have a PT15 bore-thru w a s300 that I need to swap for an x100 and a PT13 non-bore thru w an x100 that needs to go back in my bag until then... 20+ years later they are still rocket launchers from all over the place and they are sure to upset everyone in your group bc they aren't much bigger than the ball. *see Tiger Woods 1996/1997

 

 

I loved those more than my first 3 wives, they were more aspirational for me then than the keys to the Sheep Ranch now :superman2:

 

Ohio by any chance did you get to hear the GolfWRX podcast that covered them the PT fairwaywoods? If you didn't I am sure you would enjoy it.

FWIW I also think you might enjoy the Touredge CB2's give em a swing.

 

For me what they do "better" than the PT's was they sound better and secondarily I think the different composition helps get the ball up and gone. I reshafted to Graphalloy Bi-Matrix I now enjoy the control and boom boom.

If I could figure out a way to get small rails on the bottom on my LTD, it might be goat territory. Super awesome sound/feel with pretty ideal spin to be deadly off the tee and fairway.

 

I'd say so far the goat tee 3w has been the ol Rogue SZ. BEASTLY ball speed and mega low spin. Not nice from the fairway but I've hit it longer than my driver.
