Replaced or repaired the sole weight about 10 times. Used to be in the bag with a Taylor made burner plus driver 8.5 with the tour gold Aldila hm 40 shaft. Ah the memories.

 

The sound and feel of that 4 wood was like no other.

Ping Zing 5 wood. Had a huge laminated head and I could hit that thing from just about any lie and great for long par 3s. I wore mine out but awesome club.

I love the VSteels. I have almost every loft. The Adams Fast10 have a similar sole and are really good from the fairway. They have a more shallow face than the VSteels. Xdeep from Cally was good too.

I am pretty sure I own it. Nike T60 from tour van with a flowerband redboard 83. It is just amazing, long everywhere and easy to hit.

 

I had this EXACT retail combo for years. It was AMAZING! Most confident club in my bag. I had the 5 wood, too. I got on a Titleist kick one day and decided to pull the shafts and install them in 910 heads. When the experiment failed, I tried to pull the shafts, but ruined the 3 wood shaft in the process. Never could bring the old t60 back to life with any of the replacement shafts I tried. Sad, sad day.

 

Now that I think about it, Wolfpack, I’m pretty sure we have identical taste in equipment. Didn’t we both get on kicks a couple of years back for the 983E and then later on Eye2s? I swear I might play my best golf with with all of those clubs still in the bag!!!

cant believe no one has mentioned the OG Titleist PT*!!! I have a PT15 bore-thru w a s300 that I need to swap for an x100 and a PT13 non-bore thru w an x100 that needs to go back in my bag until then... 20+ years later they are still rocket launchers from all over the place and they are sure to upset everyone in your group bc they aren't much bigger than the ball. *see Tiger Woods 1996/1997

Taylormade R7ti tour, the only fairway wood I have hit over 300 yards. I always loved the spark the ti face made when hitting the ball because it was cool being able to see the energy transfer.
