PING closed because of Corona?!?!?!?

My iblades were sent back for inspection and likely fixing the swing weights, they showed up at Ping the day before Ping announced they were closing till April 6th, which I have now heard is through the rest of April. Courses are still open in Virginia and golf being played, I have had to resort to finding irons to borrow from friends...so far haven't found anything that seems remotely useable lol

Oh well....guess I can just turn my attention to getting the backyard ready to put in a putting green

I do not understand how any course in Michigan can be open. The governor's office was very specific about them being closed.

Got a call from Ping today asking to confirm my address to send back my repaired driver head. Apparently there is a small group of service techs doing repairs that were received before they closed. Now I just need somewhere to hit some balls...

They will be opening tomorrow (may 1) in a limited capacity. Don’t know what that means. But having been on the build floor there, im sure it will be a smaller than normal production line, due to social distancing.

I ordered a G410+ from DiscountDan's on 3/31. Just got it today. Supposedly they're doing them in order of when the backlog started, so you should be set in a couple of days I'd imagine. Good luck!

I was fit for 710s 3 weeks ago I was lucky they had 6-pw in stock so had to order 5i and u wedge I was told they would ship June 2nd. My buddy was fit this week for I210s he was told end of July for his.

Fit for custom G410 fairways 2 weks ago and told 4-6 week delivery time. fingers crossed they arrive sooner.

I ordered i210 irons on May 14th and was told 15-20 business days. I also ordered G410 fairway woods and they said 12-15 business days on that order (separate orders). Fingers crossed.

They are working on custom orders before shipping stock stuff to vendors. They were about 3 weeks behind but are catching up quick. Was talking to the Ping rep yesterday. Wanted some glide 3.0 but didn’t want to wait 3 weeks. Said get them in the system and they should get caught up pretty quick

Anybody know when Ping will start doing custom fittings again? Talking about the outdoor fitting at one of courses Ping partners with, not the indoor one they do at HQ.

I'm in phoenix in mid-june, was hoping I could get fit while I'm there.

I just spoke with Ping about i210 irons I ordered on May 2nd.

 

Ping just informed me that orders placed beginning of May up to today are estimated to ship out mid July. Apparently he is saying that Ping ran out of inventory on all the club heads.

The lack of inventory on heads was specifically for the i210, I didn’t inquire about any other heads, or any other services.

I received the same information yesterday. My set left PING yesterday and will be delivered by June 8...
