Frankly, I have no warm feelings any other putter I've ever owned. And paying over $400 for a modern putter seems like madness to me.

Piretti Cottonwood II (33" and 34", black) - have used them for 8 years now. Yes Callie - perfect rolls, just a little light in the loafers, plus I dented one of the C-grooves.... Piretti Teramo - center shafted half mallet. A work of art. I decided on a different arc. (Left handed).

The other dozen or so are rotting in the corner of my office. Staring at me as I type this....

So the newest one For me is a ping hepler fetch. great feel for the line when addressing the ball and a great feel when I middle a putt. Good combo there.

before now

ping anser f titanium pixel. Best feelIng putter I have owned.

and before that a sigma2 fetch. Again great at address but the same muted feel that I get with most face insert putters. So soft. Same feel with the new oddessy inserts. Just nothing there for me. I Want to feel something.

any way with the thought that all the changes I’ve been through are for the better that leaves the above list as the best for me. The last three.

In no particular order:

-Scotty AOP Laguna (Had this during HS golf and loved it, somehow agreed to sell it in college)

-Any of the Spider Tour models (have used the red and black as well as a black and red face balanced model and liked them all equally)

-Spider X (Just bought one this year as I have gamed the Spider Tours the past several years. Thought it was time to move on and this putter won't be leaving the bag anytime soon)

I’m going back in time a bit. I made a lot of putts with the original Scotty Cameron Red X. I didn’t like the insert, but I made a lot of putts with it.

Also, I used to make a lot with the black and white Odyssey DFX 2-ball putter.
