Scotty Cameron select 303 SS , sent the head to SC custom shop for a new shaft, grip, 34.5" 1 degree upright, and a Go Getter stamp on the face toe, in SC red.

Might put a sight dot on, but I love the clean flange look, so crisp without the sight line. Not only that, but the weird step pattern for the bumpers/flange on the Origin made the flange sight-lines look goofy and not continuous.

But I decided to pick up a Taylormade Spider Tour putter (Dustin Johnson). It was a demo on the floor that looked brand new and was priced $50.00 less ($249.99) so I jumped on it. Replaced the grip a Super Stroke Pistol GTR grip.

-Custom Sensor widebody, 370g, 33", 3* loft. -Black leather grip.

-Unplated carbon steel, oil can finish (will rust)

- Extruded "Lajosi" logo in cavity

-Stainless steel Lajosi shaft band

-Personalized on the right rear bumper and toe of face

-"Mega deep" face milling for super soft feel

 

Love this one already. The feel of the ball off the face, the smooth roll, and the way the heavy weight helps releasing of head down the line...I WILL have an identical backup to this one made.

Hey guys, have a lovely DH89 but looking to try something a little boxier, ie Newport II style, and i know i'll be disappointed in it if i dont go custom. I love the look of the original scotty newport II, like Tiger's, the tri-sole style.

 

Im aware there are lots of great custom builders of putter -- but still looking for advice. I really like the look and pricing of the Carbon Putters Ringo, but i haven't heard anything from them in a long time, anyone get something from them recently?
