I wanted a backup driver and bonus if it was Cally to swap shafts. Found one. XR Pro 9 Aldila Rogue Silver 110msi 60g 3.4 S. Have had success with both black and silver so it gives me options. Options are good.

MyStealth Plus with Ventus Black 6x - blacked out.  Went with the gloss crown and no logo (not available anymore for some reason). Beat out my tsi3 in looks and performance

Ben Hogan Fort Worth'15 were marked with loft numbers only.  Pretty cheap on the used market and pretty nice looking sticks if you really want that in your life.

I don't want it that much.  But I suspect it's only a matter of time until that becomes more common.  Woods and hybrids now almost all have the degree on it, driving irons have the degrees stamped.  Wedges often have degree/bounce stamped, it's about time that gets extended to irons.  It's important.

 

I know it's not all that matters, the shaft, weighting, etc. all influences how it launches, but I'd love to see irons stamped with something like 7-33 or something to that effect.

The issue with degrees on irons is what if you need to bend one or more of them for gapping? Use a Sharpie to correct it, or just remember what it's bent to now? "I know it says 36* but it's actually 38* now, notice the Sharpie says +2"

 

You aren't bending a hybrid, so the stamped loft isn't an issue.

How did you get the black face. I didn’t see that option. What lettering did you go with on the side of the club?  I went blue face blue lettering

It’s the grey face but looks better in person than in pics. Went all black lettering and black on whatever options there were. Wish the chrome soleplate was black too. Basically, I never liked the look of TM woods so I made it look like a Tsi3. I think I succeeded. 😂

Went for some new irons this year.  Was really impressed with the look of the srixons and loved you could easily get a mixed set, plus no upcharge for DG tour issue!!!  I didn't even think about it but I had no idea what the A wedge would look like, I assumed with a cavity like the ZX7's but to my surprise it looks great with my new SM8's!!!

And yet the same problem exists. Your club says 52* but what it actually is is anybody's guess. 🤣 

 

I just know it goes 110 yards. Maybe I should stamp the distance on it instead?

 

It makes more sense to have an arbitrary number that you can associate as needed. Loft, distance, favorite ex girlfriend, whatever gets you on the green, I guess.
