5-P with 5.5 graphite shafts 1/4” short, 2* upright on order.  See how this plays out. W/S site been updated to let you pick through the irons, shafts,etc. to customize them.Had the 7mb ordered but canceled them.

almost identical to my irons, except for the 'mizuno pro' 

dont have a P, GW configuration though, 

i struggled with the P, changed it to match my vokeys at 46* felt much better

I actually really like it, the multi angle facing from 1-4 degrees really helps with not bouncing the ball when it leaves the club face, and its got a great weight to it. So far so good. 

 

The grip is actually a really good size and its nice and tacky too. About the size of the SuperStroke SSR2

Finally got to hit it on a sim - I totally get the hype now! Higher ballspeed than my previous driver (F7), and it feels so nice. Was averaging about 230m carry (255 yds) with an average swing speed of about 102 mph. Spin was just around 2200 average. Longest hit was a carry of 252m. Shaft is about an inch longer than my previous driver, so dispersion wasn't anything to write home about. Overall - very happy with it based on one indoor session. Will be interested to see how it is outside.

Whats the verdict on the new spider GT? New insert feel good?  Havent seen many reviews I personally dont mind the look but everyone else seems to be trashing it.

Man I rolled it today and it's nice. Feels great. The looks aren't as bad as people say. It looks big in pictures but once you get hands on it, it's not that bad. But I actually liked the way it rolled. Real stable.

I had the exact same build in the EX 2 seasons ago and regretting ever getting rid of it 

 

miss the soft insert of the EX but the new pure roll face I can truly tell a difference in so it’s a give and take

Yay, my new toys arrived! Ordered in October last year but only arrived just now - that's what happens sometimes when you live on a small Pacific island..

 

Got some top-end and bottom end of the bag:

1. Cleveland RTX full face wedges 52, 54, and 58 degrees. I know, I know, we are not supposed to be needing that many wedges (certainly at my HC..) but I am a bit silly: I like to have a full set ready to go but also a half set (8 clubs) and an ultra light set (5 clubs). Hold on, that's not silly, that's just average WRXer stuff!
2. Srixon ZX 2 hybrid (16o). To replace an old TM 2h that I really liked. I have Srixon irons and like the brand. I am not good with 3w off the deck but that TM 2h used to be great so have good hopes for the Srixon. It is likely to replace the driver and be the longest club in the bag. Hzardus Smoke Black 80g low spin stiff shaft.
3. Cobra 0ne-length utility 3 iron (19.5o). Stiff shaft. 'Always been crap at hitting long irons' + 'interested in the single-length idea' = trial! Catalyst 80 stiff shaft (graphite). I did not realize it is adjustable so more to play with (though so far, every adjustable club stayed at standard setting).

And bought a Garmin Approach S10. Simple black and white but has better battery life than the colour screens. Mate has it and looked useful.

 

But...as luck would have it... covid finally reached our shores as well and the golf club is closed for now..

Whoa, that’s quite a haul. I got the Approach S42 back in the Fall and absolutely love it. Great stuff, enjoy!!
