Went to get fitted for a hybrid/driving iron and ended up with a P790 UDI. I never would have hit it but the fitter thought it would fit what I was looking for. By far the most consistent of all that I tested with the best numbers.

Toulon Garage Daytona, 33.75 length, 3 degree loft, 1 degree up on the lie.  Stock weight says it's 365 with the 10 gram weight, decided to go lighter and get the 5 gram weight.  This is replacing a Spider EX putter so still getting used to the feel/sound, but so far it feels and sounds great.  Blacked out everything besides the toulon symbol and line on the bottom.

Recent purchase and had them resoled and restored.   Lizard skin ones are 40 years old.  They are beauties!!!

Few, new to me mp18 mmc (first time in 25 years not playing a blade) New sm8 50 to fill in gap between 46 pw and my 54, also a new Hybrid 14 bag. Still have my 25 year old ping hoofer, bought an Ogio cart bag a couple years ago, not very impressed.

It is still so weird to me folks like Mizuno made golf equipment. I have always known them as a baseball equipment manufacture.

Yeah I know they have been in the golf industry for a while its just weird how many different industries their brand makes equipment for. They make running shoes, golf irons, swimming gear, baseball gloves, volleyball gear, softball bats, fitness tracking, training equipment, ect. They are all over the place lol

Curious, which other ones did you test as well? This one is about the only one I feel like I haven’t hit. @Sankacoffee

Local golf store had 20% of all in stock clubs.  Been wanting to try a fairway wood again so picked up a new Mavrik 18* for $160.  Seemed like a good deal and liked the way it set up at address.

Ordered a PXG Gen3 0311P 8-iron to test. FedEx delivered it like this. They completely destroyed it. Not to mention they lost it in Tucson for 11 days. Luckily PXG is going to reshaft it for me.

Not sure I remember all of them, but I know I hit the Titleist U505, Sim UDI, and a few hybrids but I can't keep from snap hooking those. I think I hit a Ping too but I don't remember the model. I also hit the P790 in a few different shafts, including X100 which is in my irons but I went with the Smoke. I went in wanting the Fli-Hi but decided to let the fitter lead me.

I get what you're saying and I also find it interesting Mizuno's able to design and manufacture at a high level to these many markets.  Even with a seemingly smaller marketing budget than their competitors.

The only place to take your Classics for a proper restoration is LaRossa in Weymouth, MA.  
The burgundy pair were NOS (new old stock)

The lizard pair were in fantastic condition and are very rare. Soles were worn but the rest of the shoe just needed a steaming and conditioning.
