Just traded in my 2018 Callaway Rogue driver for a new Callaway Rogue ST Max driver during CPO’s current sale. (Got a nice deal over current big box prices), sorry not a better pic. Waiting on actual head cover to come in but pictured far left in generic CPO black head cover. Also had my clubs regripped in Golf Pride CP2 Wrap Midsize yesterday, feels so much better. My irons still had the original grips from when I got them in 2017. Can’t wait to hit this new driver soon!

Just got yesterday and haven’t got to hit it yet

Renewed my work permit at Chamchuri square, which a short hop to Thaniya Plaza in Bangkok... so decided it was time.

 

I looked in at the Mizuno shop - the STG 5 wood is beautiful shape, all titanium and even indoors random demo it seemed d way better feel/sound than my Titleist TSR2 5 wood.... but. I'd previously had complete and shocking success with the Callaway Super Hybrid in 21 degrees (I just call it a 7 wood), which with its shorter shaft than a usual fairway wood is wonderful - so checked out and easily decided to buy the 18 degree Super Hybrid - shorter shaft and price has come down now with the incoming Smoke stuff.

 

Main drama was new Driver time.... Now since that Cway Super does feel so good, i did look at the discounted Paradym but i know i'd alwasy be wondering so I bit the bullet and bought a Mizuno STG 440. Here in Asia comes with a Diamana mm d62-S shaft... i've ordered already a spare adaptor for my beloved Kai'Li Blue anyway.... 

 

New below on the right, next to my old faithful 😉 - the old one is 460cc by the way, hehe

 

 

bottom view is kind of encouraging to me...

Also got some discounted Asics, before my current Boa pair disntegrate

Wow, these are really nice. Very nice little pouch, well protected during shipment from Canada. Not sure what the card is for yet, will have to scan it or something. My shafts don't get here for a few more days, so I'm just going to look at them for a little while.

I crushed it on eBay last week and won two sets of Epons, the AF-505 and AF-706, for under $900 shipped and taxed. I didn’t intend to buy these, but the price was right and I’m waiting for my EF-02i build to arrive, which is my first set of new clubs in years. 
 

Happy to share more. Put them head to head with each other, a PXG G5 0311p, and Miz 225 and they’re sweet. Not as great performing as the Miz or PXG, but more center and butter feel. 
 

If anything, I gained more appreciation for the Miz and PXG. Once the EF-02 is in hand, I’ll add it to my test.

So it looks like i have gotten my hands on some of Francesco Molinari’s Tour issue Nike Vapor pro irons. The appear raw since there is rust forming on the back.

My best friend passed away suddenly back in October. I picked up his Scotty Select Newport 2 that he had refinished down at Continental. I had bought its brother from him previously - a Newport that I had murdered out at Continental. He never loved the Scotty's, but loved what they did to mine, so he bought another one for them to do.

Thought you guys might like this build.  Found an ebay seller with brand new still in the shrink wrap Adams A12 Pro Forged black heads.  He still has a few of the sizes, but when I bought them two months ago I picked up the 4, 6, 8, and 9 iron heads to build a short set.  bent the 8 iron a little strong, so I have a 24*, 30*, 36*, and 42* setup.  So playing like a 4.5, 6, 7.5, and 9 iron.

 

Heads were $13 each, and they combined shipping.  So I think I'm in this 4-club short set for about $80 total with the shafts/grips I'm using (take-out Bassara demo shafts with U580 grips.)

 

Should be a good match with the two Pro A12 hybrids I have in 16* and 20* lofts.
