Found these Powerbilt Citation irons 3 thru 9 B flex (reg) and this Hogan Sure out. At goodwill. 2.99 each. Did not buy as I'm trying to get rid of stuff. A.so a rea funky looking iron set with extremes offset.

Those Power Bilt irons are the famous 66 thru 70 Horse Shoe Citations ( Slang term) Trade name is Levelume just like it says. Those are similar to the ones I played for years except mine were custom ground ( not for me) and had a thinner butter knife sole like a Mac VIP.

they were still there when I went back and picked up the Hogan wedge. I stopped at another GW that usually has nothing and I almost didn’t stop. Posting in a minute or two of what I found there.

Where are these magical goodwills? The best things I’ve ever seen in Seattle was a 4/10 condition set of ’74 Hogan directors. In California a set of fluid feels (that I bought) and 6/10 bounce soles which I didn’t. You are always finding full sets of VIP’s.

In Finland they simply don’t have golf clubs, but if you’d like cross country skis I can set you up!

James it depends on the area--- Here we are the self described "Golf Capital" of the world-- We have lots of retirees that were club hoes. Then sadly they pass away and the kids are in a hurry to sell the house and take Mom back up North. They clean out the house and the stuff goes to either Goodwill or to the scrapyard I work at. On the other hand believe it or not we have some retirees with disposable income who will buy the latest and greatest. Far as classic club hoes around here there is my buddy Bear and myself, his brother Checkers to some extent. The only WRXer I know around here that is a classic Ho is Nixlix. I have not met him in person yet but we do frequent the same GW on occasion.

Shocker--- I started running sound at another church 2 weeks ago and come to find out the interim pastor lives up in Little River SC ( North of me) and he is a classic club ho too. LOL his wife is ready to kill him-- he loves the thrifts and yard sales

Driver--- Callaway Big Bertha Alpha--- Speeder 565 R flex

3W-- Callaway RAZR-- Speeder 565 R Flex

7W --- TM V Steel UST Pro Force 65 R flex

SW -- Cleveland 588 56* TT Sensicore S-400

I just picked up these. There is some work that is needed to be done to them. Driver has some issues with the wood between the insert and toe. The 3 wood has a scar towards the back. The 4 wood has a little bigger scar and some missing wood. I'll end up sending these to Dave Wood and I know he will make these outstanding.

Driver:  TaylorMade 300 Mini 11.5° (10.2°), Fujikura Ventus Blue 5S Velocore

Set of Cobra TVD-II Aluminum Bronze V-Groove irons came in from Ebay. 3-SW set. Shafted with TT Gold Plus S200 shafts. I like the look of them, but they have a funky reverse offset I see was popular back in the day in Japan.

I had no idea what these were, but a helpful WRX poster told me they may be a special order only set from 1993 or so?

I'm debating polishing them up to their original bronze glory, or leaving then patina'd. The wear on the soles makes them look slightly uneven to me.

Those are sweet man. I’d keep them just as they are. I love the patina.

Got a set of KZG classics. More pics after build.

product-76524-1.jpg

Trust me you will like them especially when you get the shafts matched up for your swing---- I would not say this on the main forums because I would get flamed ( I am among friends here)--- Get the shafts matched up for you and those have better feel than any Miura or Mizuno--- I believe DJ will back me up on that. I am absolutely in love with my 1st generation CBs. Those are some of the earlier Kyoei forgings

funny you mention that Stu,

I was walking past my BeCu bag last night and spotted this Mac 314 putter.

forgot I had it. almost disappeared in there because I hadn't cleaned it up.

so....turned it into this.

then realized I have too many, a bunch of the same style.

see what a long winter makes a fella do ?
