I've never seen so many negative comments, about the looks of a club, when the whole club hasn't even been shown yet.

Especially when taking into account that the only part of the club that [i]has[/i] been shown is the part that is completely, 100% out of view when you are actually using the club.

Hilarious that the first three pages were positive. Now the wave is turning. I still think it looks great really good step in the right direction can't wait to see it on TV and I can't wait to see it in my bags if it beats up some of the good competition out there.

all this neagtive feed back over ONE picture. nike spends more in one year than what people make in a lifetime on product develop. wait till proper pictures are released. people will be surprised. BTW volt color is best selling color on nike merchandise and for most companys also.

I am not a fan of the color at all. Loved the Proto irons till they released the new color scheme. Just hate green (volt). Guess if the performance is there Continental will get an order for repainting. Replace all the volt with Red and it word look amazing!!!

Maybe red was Tiger's color and Volt is Rory's? Still don't want the green, even it I can't see it at address. Performance will tell but I'm not going to have Nike gear in the bag with volt on it.

Not sure what you expected. Getting the whole "volt" concept to be seamlessly accepted by traditional golfers is very optimistic. I'm still waiting to see more pictures (get some more from your rep ) to decide how I feel about the looks of this club. I do wish that Nike would make an offering like this more for a GI segment and launch a players line which looks more traditional with their tech incorporated, much like the VR LTD was introduced.

I'm with you. Would love to see the head and make a choice from there. I loved the red, will miss the red. However the compression channel has me drooling. I'll play anything as long as it isn't packer/masters colored.

Plus you can always throw some batman duct tape like I did on my tour edge cb pro! Super classy.

It's basically a hybrid. Looks easy to hit off the fairway with that sole, or lack there of. I would like to test this club out and see how they feel.

Its always the way though, the swoosh on the crown still plays a part in some peoples decisions even though its been proven ad-nauseum that when looking at the ball it can't be seen. I too admit that the red WILL be sorely missed. Just last week my friend, who is a Titleist player and renowned no frills kind of guy, commented on how "sexy" my driver and 3 wood looked. From a bloke who wears beige alot it was quite the compliment.

Admittedly I'm fairly in love with everything [twitter]NikeGolf[/twitter] have done in at least the last 4 years and continue to be impressed with each release, but hey, some people don't like change. Especially [size=6][i][b][color=#00ff00]VOLT [/color][/b][/i][/size]change...

I actually feel lucky I held off on getting the 2014 staff bag which was due to be ordered the day before the iron release.

I happen to like the volt...maybe there is a bit more in the cavity to my liking but I don't hate it.

At the launch event I was discussing the new drivers with some of the Nike guys...I believe they said the crown is matte charcoal with Volt accents.

There are indeed three versions. I was told I will like the pro best...but the Flex I believe is the "TOP" model.

Also, NO GLUED Version!

Lastly, here is some really great news.

Flexloft has been slightly improved but remains BACKWARDS COMPATIBLE.

Nike has clearly been reading the forum.

I thought the Covert was hideous and just fueled my thought that Nike was all sizzle, no steak.

I ended up trying one in a scramble, and buying the 2.0 version the next day and driving was better for me again.

I think the cavity back is ugly, it sounds terrible if you hit it anywhere near the heel but I don't care, it has helped me.

I will look at it and see if it gains me anything over the Covert 2.0, but then I have gotten over how hideously ugly it is pretty quickly.
