Funny story...in the NLU podcast that's mentioned in this photo, Fleetwood talks about his close friends he stayed with at Bay Hill for the API this year.

 

I was doing my weekly cardio run around the neighborhood and I picked my head up as I passed by my neighbors house and this guy with long hair gets out of a club cart in the driveway and I was like "This guy look familiar....?". He stared at me for a second and I just ran by back to my place a few houses down.

 

While walking to the clubhouse during the tournament a few days later; Fleetwood pulls up again in a cart after Friday's cut in the evening in his tournament attire....low and behold it was him the whole time lol. I'll try and catch him next year.

If anyone in this thread was to buy a Vapor 2 iron, head only or am I better to get the steel Project X 6.5 in it? Getting the Project X in will cost me money.

Recently picked up near mint VR S Forged heads and put them on Project X Shafts. I think they’re better than the Covert forged clubs I had a few years back.

 

These are my backup bag but I really should take them out more often.

Am having a set of VR Pro Blades delivered later on today. Found them on GolfBidder in the UK - good condition heads, S400 Tour Issue, 4 - PW, £230. Need to pick up a 3 iron at some stage, but plenty of those on the bay.

I am down to 1 Nike Club in my bag with my putter but just booked in at Artisan for a putter fitting.

I just had a helluva time getting enough loft on my VFP. I had it set to 12.5 and still seemed to hit low bullets. Was playing an X flex shaft. Even the stuff I had for a while seemed to hit low low. Maybe I should have given the tensi a try.

So I'm sure someone here has been able to figure out the vapor fly pro driver, but I haven't.

 

Where exactly is the sweet spot on this thing? Love the shape, size, and color, but just haven't been able to hit it well.

I hit long enough with vfp driver to give me a chance for an eagle :) but I would like to try M3 or M4 once the price goes down. I recently bought x stiff diamana white shaft to reduce dispersion and match my increased swing speed. We will see how it does during summer.

I can seem to get flight down with the flex 440. Lol. I have it down to 8.5 and weight pod set to low. Must be a dynamic loft thing for me as I've always hit a pretty high ball with every driver Ive had. I'm carrying it around 240-260 on a decent strike. so I'm not sure I really want to bring it down. I'm just not sure if I should tinker, try to optimize and tighten dispersion at the cost of some yards or just let it be.

I loved mine but the EPIC Sub Zero may look no where near as nice but it is more forgiving. I think I was longer with the VFP though.

I have Nike all the way from 4i on to the putter. Sometimes the Scotty CT or Byron make their way into the putter slot but mostly the Oven 001 stays put(t)...
