He had no alcohol in his body. Just woke up from his painkillers, give him a break. He was NOT driving and that law is BS. I am neutral on Tiger but he has serious physical problems and takes painkillers for all those injuries like anyone else would do. Sad the news has nothing better to report.

 

He wasn't driving? So how did he end up stopped at an intersection, engine running, half asleep and incoherent in the driver's seat with his foot on brake pedal? We should start speculating on who drugged him and put him in such a position! Maybe it was Elin!

 

 

You have to watch the movie Interstellar to understand how Tiger got there. It's all wormhole related. I'm sure Neil deGrasse Tyson will weigh in on it shortly.

 

When the Malaysian Airlines plane disappeared in 2014, one of the experts on CNN opined it was the result of a blackhole. You may be on to something.

I'll tell ya what it all means. Tiger is a prescription drug addict and needs help. Hope he gets it, I know several people who have these issues and it usually starts with chronic pain in the back, or hip or where ever.....This is probably the biggest epidemic in the country right now........if Tiger does the right thing he will seek treatment and then use his notoriety to help others.

Me (29yo Male). Sad thing is Tiger was legitimately my hero growing up. When I was a kid I had Tiger posters on my wall and read every book about him I could find, I knew all his stats, glued to the TV on the weekends....

If we take him at his word that alcohol was not involved and that the incident was an unfortunate consequence of prescription medications, then it's interesting to speculate on what interaction might have occurred. He was 10 minutes or so south of his house and driving away. If this was a booty call, and he popped a Viagra prior to driving, he could well have been feeling the sudden effects of an interaction with whatever antibiotic he was taking following his surgery.

WTF, Madison and I had a lil tiff and I went out in my SUV, put the sunroof back, put the seat back and used my blue tooth head phones and slept it off till it started raining.

I haven't tried to drive after I ran up the road last year about 1/2 a mile to grab some Cope and the ride up was beautiful as I only had to make three rights and I was there-

 

Well, on the drive back two of the three lefts went fine(I'm blind out of left eye) but the last left was cut short and I took out her mail box, not to mention putting a nice dent in my bumper.

 

At least she didn't come after me with one of her irons, though she did take the keys

Ive lived in NYC since 1998 and rarely drive. And I sure dont drive if I drink. But I see the highways full of people from the suburbs, cars *full* of clowns driving down to "the club", and I doubt they are drinking club soda all night.

 

 

And you know plenty of guys who drive after drinking. And you know guys who have driven *loaded*. Did you call the cops on them?

 

So its fine to make your statements of shock and horror, but dont act like you couldnt pick up the phone and talk to someone who hasnt had a few drinks and drove in the past few months.

I agree completely. The sad part is many people have, and continue to do so, including many on here, but will never admit it. I'm completely fine to drive. It takes way more to get me drunk.'

I can answer for me. Zero. Lots of us out there who don't drink at all if we're going to be behind the wheel. A lot of folks seem stunned that many people make this decision before they leave home.

No I don't know anyone that has driven drunk in last 5 years. People I know have a designated driver who drinks soda or water while their spouse drinks or at family parties the kids drive the parents home if they had too much. It's not that complicated, in a car of 4 or 5, 1 person doesn't drink.

Because if he had he might be dead. Taking all four of those pills at once might just take ya right out of the game. He likely took them throughout the day. I'm not totally sure, but I imagine he took a mixture of 12 and 24 hour relief narcotics at different times throughout the day. He didn't realize exactly what it was going to do to him.

I've never driven drunk. Since I was 22 (I'm 46 now), I've always had a job that would get me fired (or at least not promoted) if I had a DUI. And if I did drive drunk and get caught I'd have no problem with laws that would jail me and cause me to lose my job. I'd have no one to blame but myself.
