They haven't played with a healthy Tiger in pursuit on the closing nine. Players would hear the roar of the crowds and just crash and burn. Likely you are right, probably won't happen again. But man, oh man, I would love to see it.

Touchy crowd, I guess. I was simply pointing out that TW’s come full circle from declining a US President’s invitation to celebrate Robinson’s legacy at a baseball game because he wanted to “take a break from the limelight,” to now reappearing in the public limelight after a period of relative obscurity to celebrate Robinson’s legacy by wearing his jersey to the World Series. It’s quite ironic, actually, regardless of any “statute of limitations” that allegedly exists to bar my observation.

 

My lord, man. Lighten up. I’m a fan. I’m just making “conversation.”

 

In all seriousness, here’s hoping he comes back to play soon. I’m anxious to see him on the course.

I agree with the point you brought up.Ive discussed that here in the past and was told he was 21, how would you react when youre 21? well if the president invites me anywhere im going! that wasnt what bothered me though. its that he told feinstein" they didnt want me there until after i won the masters" duh! historic achievement at lilly white place by a person of color... but hey hes his own man.Doesnt affect how i view him as a golfer just disappointed that he handled it that way and never mea culpad it later. These young kids are not going to be intimidated by Tiger lol. He had his time when he dominated and revolutionized the game. Hell, most these kids started playing because of him. But he's never going to be feared like he was back then. It's a different PGA Tour now.

 

Most of the time I think that will be the case.

 

But if (giant IF) Tiger ever makes one more charge on the last nine at Augusta...Jordan, Justin, Dustin and the rest may find themselves in the same boat as Seve, Greg, Tom and the other Hall of Famers Jack passed that last day. There will be roars.

Each passing week, he is becoming the spitting image of Earl. Needs to be like Mike before that mangy hairdo completes the package.

 

Nice to see $$ talk, any regular person would be losing their license for 6 months and heading to 100s of hours of community service and certainly not being allowed to undergo a 12-month probation diversionary program for first-time offenders and pay a $250 fine. Will be interesting to see how he does with random (haha) drug testing. Maybe he can have the PGA do the tests. Hopefully they test him the morning before his second round of his first tournament back.. The program is well named as the definition of diversionary is “tending to draw attention away from the PRINCIPAL CONCERN” you think?

I have a friend who just went through this. dWI, blew a .151. No different than Tigers sentence. Kept his license, 12 month diversionary program, etc. only difference is he has a breathalyzer in his truck because he was drunk
