Had a chance to roll the stealth B60 and the ZB and loved them both. The roll is phenomenal and the finishes are top notch. Feel is soft and mute, similar to the original Vault. The ZB platinum is an absolute stunner. I was surprised how much I liked it, as I normally don't play that style. The headcovers are plush and very nice and the stock grip is the PP60.

Headed to try these out at lunch today :pimp:

If you can, report back how the Vault Ketsch feels against the Cadence TR Ketsch. Thanks

I've asked Ping

Anyone know if you can get the black weights in a stealth finish putter?

I've asked Ping what colors are what weight in grams. Waiting to hear back. Contact their customer service via their site. They're pretty responsive.

They didn’t have a Ketsch yet but I did really like the feel of the Anser. I just wish you could get it with a sightdot and no line. They called Ping to ask and were told no. I tried the Dale Anser (platinum and black), Voss, B60 and the ZB. I liked the stealth finish (platinum was nice too I just preferred the black). They had a nice feel with responsive feedback. My only complaint was one of the Dale Ansers appeared to have a bowed neck. The other two didn’t have that issue. I have a gift card and may end up using it on a custom ordered Anser. The grip was so so but that can be changed easily.

Wonderful, tack on another $40+ for weights and wrench.

Or get fitted and save the $40. It is Ping after all; you won't be getting a deal anywhere unless you wait a year or so.

I think the ZB is going to be the star, even for those that don't use that type of putter. The fact that you can choose from three different finishes and weight sets only adds to its appeal. IMO, it is the best design of this putter style I've ever tried.

For those that have hit these... Do they feel any softer than the original version or much the same?

I, just about 15 minutes ago before work, hit the 1.0 and the 2.0 side by side at my local golf discount. I can say, in my opinion, that the 2.0 is a little softer than the 1.0. I definitely prefer the 2.0 over the 1.0, especially since they have the ZB head. The 2.0 isn't springy but the feel of the ball off the face is just softer and more responsive. I normally play with a Odyssey Protype #9 and that is pretty soft for a completely forged head, and I definitely prefer the 2.0 to that now, so.... I bought one = )

I’m waiting on my stealth ZB to go into production. My rep said that my request for a sound slot to be added was approved but is proving tricky to actually execute.

So of course I ordered a PLD1 that will arrive before my ZB...

I can't decide between the platinum and the stealth. The platinum ZB looked so good and I feel like I could use the flange for alignment easier than if it was stealth.

Yea I wrestled with that dilemma also. I have a black Odyssey Protype #5 that I rolled at home with my gamer, which is platinum. I think at least to my eye the stealth will be fine for alignment, plus I really like the copper weights against the black head haha

Looking forward to sharing. As for the “different color weights” thing - stealth putters only come with the copper weights, platinum with copper, copper with black. There are just different weight values in each color. They can’t be mis-matched unfortunately

I'm confused. Ping mentions they have three different weights. Does that mean, regardless of the weight you request, the weights will be the same color?
