All due respect, I gotta disagree with Kmac

I bought the Z785 expecting (hoping?) to love it but it just didn't work for me.

I used Srixon's 100% money back guarantee to pick up the TS2.

Great, great driver!

Different strokes indeed. I love Titlesit gear - looks classy and Im vain like that. I play a Tmb 3i and love it. SM5 wedges are awesome. TS2 fairway is nothing short of solid.

When it comes to Titleist drivers and me (my swing)....I just cannot hit them to save my life. I love the way they look. I love the way they feel and sound. They are just sooooo short for me compared to other sticks. Weird.

Ugh. I was at the PGA Superstore yesterday afternoon and completely forgot to try the Z785!! I got in my car to leave and realized like WTF!?!!!?! Next time. I hit the Rogue Sub Zero instead and I really enjoyed it.

I know R&D to keep up with other competitors is very costly, but IMO, the weight sets of all adjustable Drivers should be included in the $500 price tag. That's the price of half the irons in your bag. Crazy.

Driver: Cobra LTD Pro 7.5o - Kuro Kage DC XT 70 TX - Tipped 1"

UDI: 2019 TaylorMade P790 2i

Irons: 3-PW: Srixon z745 with Modus 130x

Wedges: 52o/56o/60o - Cleveland RTX4s

Putter: Ping Kushin 4

I've continued to test with different shafts, and I think I just can't get along with the head. I am a bit of a high spin player, and no matter what shaft I try, it spins too much, launches quite high, and my misses are left. I'm getting ~3000 RPM on good strikes even with the stock HZRDUS Black, about that with the Tensei Orange, and close to that with the Atmos Black X. If I hit a fade, it goes up a lot....

I want to like this head so much, it feels great, looks great, but I think I may need a head where I can move the weight up and knock down spin. Over the weekend I also demoed an M3 with a Tour ADI 70X and had such a different ball flight, flatter, hotter, straighter......Maybe back to my Cobra heads or try the TM.

The thing is, I have the F85 3 wood in 15 degrees with the HZRDUS yellow 75 6.0 and I'm killing it. Really long, straight, can work it both ways, really a great fit for me, I want the extension of this performance in a driver, and I just can't seem to replicate it....

Did you try another head? Maybe you got one that says 9.5 but is really 10.5 or 11?

That is exactly what I see with the TS2 - crazy short and its not even close to being as straight for me compared to the 785.

That is the next step. Maybe the head is really 11 and not 9.5. I'm hitting it set to 8.5, maybe its just a "dud" head, on the simulator, my ball speed is also about the lowest compared to any other brand I try.....not by a a whole lot, but noticeable....

Yeah that seems weird. I’d definitely try another head, maybe Srixon will swap you.

Followed up today to see if it would be shipping out this week as promised after multiple delays and was now told well into November after ordering in early September. Cancelled my build as I won't be able to properly test it in the 60 day window at this point in the season. I would have probably tried a different shaft if I knew I was going to be told it's going to be delayed another two weeks and another two weeks etc etc. Bummed how it turned out with Srixon as I am hitting the F85 3 wood and H85 3 hybrid really well. I'll maybe revisit next year the used market and test one out but I'm hitting my G400 Max so well it's not worth the headache waiting for the Z785.

Hit this driver again today, 9.5 HZRDUS black 6.0. I am still shocked I am able to walk out of the store without it. I love it and will one day own it. The G400 better be on its best behavior cause the 785 is really good.

Hit the Z785 yesterday with the Hzrdus black and it feels phenomenal off the face. I am sad to say it spun a bit too high for me. Further testing needed.

Feel like the 758 blows the doors off the G400 but thats just my .02

I feel like the only way to know this is to just buy one and put them up against each other.... Demoing is great but can only tell so much. May just pull the damn trigger.

Bought the driver today... HC black 6.0. Ball speeds were in the G400 range, 150+ again. I couldn't justify not trying this thing out..LOL Unfortunately when I got home and unwrapped it, it has some weird paint wear on the crown by the toe and a paint chip just north of the alignment aid. I'll be bringing it back tomorrow for something in better shape hopefully... Excited to try it out outside though.

I got an updated ship date of 11-8. My original ship date was supposedly 10-10.

Really need this driver to show up asap. I just snapped my hazrdus yellow 6.5 driver's shaft in half while playing yesterday. Will most likely have to put the 6.0 back in until ProjectX sends me a replacement. "IF" they decide to send me one of course.

Nothing can beat what you see on the course playing real golf where the shots count. I tried the G400's like this and ended up selling them because they just didnt work for me like everyone else.
