Oakland Hills and Medinah are both far better than this contrived mess. But, maybe they can improve it by adding 'gators.

I think the 'Everybody has to play' stat may have gotten to the captains. The statistic that correlates not playing all your players in the first session and losing the cup is really high. Maybe that's the reason?

After a good start Tiger didn't look right this morning, he didn't appear to be moving well.

 

Brooks is a strange omission, I agree 100%. His game is rock solid and would seem perfect for this format.

Going back to Phil taking iron off a par 5 and dunking it, in a real team sport, Furyk would have benched him. He shouldn't play at all tomorrow.
