Ordered mine (after an indoor Trackman fitting) with a Hzrdus Smoke black 6.5 as it gave me the absolute best numbers.. But couldn't get it elevate off the deck in play, you have about 5mph more speed so you could maybe get it going. Off the tee it was loong. Swapped in a trusty AD DI and it has been money so far. I had as a solid second option in the fitting: a Rogue Silver 110MSI and it probably would have been the better shaft for me, I have hit it outdoors in the M5 3fw head and it was a great fairway shaft IMO.

Perhaps it would be best to stay away from those heads comprised partially of carbon fiber if you are concerned about durability!

The 'All Titanium' heads seem to be just as long and far more durable, (i.e. resistant to cracking).

Surprising, M5 is the best feeling driver I've ever hit by a wide margin.

Different strokes for different folks lol.

I'd go Pro White. You can pick them up pretty cheap if you keep your eye out.

I stand by the statement I made, and clearly, there are multiple photographs of 'cracked' carbon fiber heads within this thread, (and other threads) to support my statement. The 'All Titanium' Heads are indeed more durable, (i.e more resistant to head cracking), than those made partially of carbon fiber.

For the record, I think one would actually have to be a 'Crackhead', to even attempt to deny all the clear, visual evidence of cracked carbon fiber heads that have been posted on this forum....Carbon Fiber cracking happens much too frequently, most often with TM heads, although other brands selling Drivers made partially of carbon fiber are certainly vulnerable to cracking as well.

I’ve got one paired with a P95 and it’s a weapon in my bag. I have the spin dialed in perfectly. It doesn’t spin too much like some 5 woods I’ve hit, but it’s not too low to where it hits and rolls for days. I cant say enough good things about it. Same goes for the 3 wood.

Sweet thanks man. I’ve noticed that the spin is real good with it. Like you said not too much and not too little. I paired it up with the Tensei Pro White and hoping to be my next par 5 killer

Just got an M6 and love it. Was using a Ping G400 Max but airline didn't deliver my clubs on a recent trip and the rentals were TM M6. Although I hit the rental too high, I felt like I was hitting it further. When I returned (clubs eventually made it), I found a M6 for a reasonable price as well as the shaft I use in the Ping (Evenflue blue) and the results have been great. Longer than the Ping G400 Max with similar dispersion and height. I am a little surprised since I really liked the Ping but happy with the additional length. I don't like the way TM paints top of the driver face but so far love the results.

Had it, was too fade biased and didn't spin enough. Sold it.

I'm testing one against my m4.

M4 - 8.5 m6 - 9.0

I have to play the m4 in upright to offset the fade bias. Tried the m6 in upright and had too many left misses so I tried it in standard lie...much better. Played it for the first time today and hit it head against my m4 on every driver hole.

The good...M6 was more accurate and longer. I've been struggling with a right miss with my m4. Hit them both really solidly on only 1 hole really. On that hole, m6 was longer by 15 yards.

The bad...4 hard lefts with the m6.

I have a new shaft coming that is stiffer than the one I play now. I'm hoping it helps keep the face from shutting down on the m6. If not then I'll have to dump the m6 and try a m5.

The only downside I have found for my M5 3 wood so far, I sky'ed it the other day and dam even with a silver sharpie it doesn't look perfect anymore.

I could have almost cried, if it was not hot melted and perfect I would have had to buy a new one.

Love the M6, been playing it since it came out. Have mine paired with a Ventus 6S and as long as I put a half-a$$ swing on it I get good results. Great results with a really good swing!!!

After nearly 13 years of tinkering via self-diagnosis, trial and error – buying and selling multiple drivers. I decided to finally get fitted. I went through True spec and went in completely undiagnosed without a budget and brand agnostic. This was planned and budgeted for as I wanted to purchase purely on results. After 2+ hours I ended up with the M6 9 degree – set to 10 with the new Speeder 757 TR X flex @ 44.75 inches. I am a low launch/high spin player and most of my misses are low in the heal. This is typically due in part to a poor attack angle and out/in path. The results were clear that I was able to keep spin down the best with the M6 yet launch it better than my current set up. look forward to seeing if the performance improves in play

I don’t carry a 3 wood, which is next on my list. Naturally I would like to try the M5/M6 although I will still approach the fitting as being completely neutral to brand. Curious to know feedback based off a full season of these being in play. Which do you prefer and why?
