I would guess that is correct. And, if you want to get your hands on one, you will be forced to shell out $800 for a head like the Epic 440. I am not holding my breath, but maybe they will offer it to retail this time around?

It is a little surprising they can't do a limited run of smaller heads, or full retail like TM. Seemed to work for the XR 16 sub zero.

I'm really eager to give this thing a shot. The original Epic SZ has been my favorite driver of all time, and it's been the first driver that I've kept in the bag for more than a season without messing with it since about the time I joined WRX. It's the driver that has given me the ideal mix of ball speed and spin, blended with forgiveness. If these early reports of picking up ~4 mph are accurate, the spin numbers are in the same neighborhood, and it keeps it on the planet on mis-hits, it sounds like it would be worth the upgrade. I use a Green/Yellow Lamkin UTX cord grip on all my clubs, so the color scheme works for me, too. The line on the crown isn't very appealing to me, but I've found that things like turbulators and other things that seem like they'll be really distracting initially tend to blend into the background once you get used to it. I'm definitely looking forward to testing it out.

If the weight is heavy enough it should. But, who knows. It doesn't look like it's traveling very far from side to side.

I tweaked the sliding weight a smidge and ball speed went up 3mp so the extra 10 yards I needed for a long driver competition.. Sometimes you match the COG to your average hit location and BOOM goes the DYNAMITE.

 

So the sliding weight will give you more than enough adjustment and as Warrick said.. it is on the SZ :superman:

I know I'm the minority, but when you have five plus models in the States and in all likelihood you have a glued option in Japan, why not add one more in the States?
