Has anyone seen Schauffele shown on TV yet? Does it look like he has any of the new drivers in play?

I did some testing on the Subzero and apex forged 2019 irons.

The iron shapes are similar to Xander’s, I personally believe it performed better than previous apex series. Had the CF16 for comparison with trackman. Ball speed was really good, almost similar to epic pro. However shaft wasn’t my spec. Look out for this, it will be one of the best irons for 2019 and with slimmer profile, they look great

As for the woods, they feel less carbon thud and more similar to epic forged driver. More metallic sound. Ball speed is comparable to rogue Subzero. More adjustability than previous epic Subzero. Hit some bullets even with the shaft that wasn’t my spec. The color combination on the sole might not please everyone. Then again you can order the uDesign. But at address, they set up great. Both driver and fairway metal comes with adjustable hosel.

Can’t post anything until the green light for world launch or pre official launch.

When are these due to come out? I need to see if the Apex pros can stack up against the Srixon 785s.

LOL!

The comparison to the Epic Forged has my interest extremely peaked!! Curious to see if they will be releasing a glued Driver in Japan, again?!?!

I think the headcover looks better than both the Epic and Rogue covers. The material looks less like plastic this time.

I've adopted the usage of a non OEM headcover. It works for multiple reasons. First, no one is tempted to steal the latest and greatest driver when it's covered by an dirty ripped raccoon. Second, my wife doesn't know how often the club underneath the cover changes. Third, I get less crap from my partners for changing clubs multiple times in a season. And fourth, my kids got it for me and it makes them happy to see it used still after all these years.

I couldn't agree more...The new cover does look better than the past options, but nothing says "Take me home" like a brand new OEM head cover.....LOL

Everyone complaining about the color scheme, this is 100% for television visibility and nothing more. They don’t sit in a room and go pick two colors that are hideous, but try and pick something that will stand out on television. Black does not stand out on television. If you can afford a $600 driver and you can afford the money to get it painted like you want. They are in the business to make money

Man, I just updated to the Rogue! LOVE it, but now I gotta get me the Flash or the Forged?

I’m about to give up and and go back to persimmons.

If you love the Rogue, stick with it. It's a damn fine club. I doubt the flash can do much better in terms of performance. I'm looking forward to the smaller footprint myself. But, the Rogue is a performer!

After years of people complaining that they wanted more muted heads like pros... now these companies are saying people want to hear a loud explosive sound and equate that to distance. Have heard it from two companies. The face tech on this will sell big time. It’s a great narrative.

Agreed! I think Cally will sell a lot of these just based on the marketing hype they are putting towards the face tech..
