The P 7TW stamping looks crooked and something seems off about the pics. Who know maybe I'm seeing things. Do they really have a ltd Japanese model of these though?

Me too. But this also confirms how beautiful they are. Seriously the nicest irons I’ve ever seen. The thin, milled sole really has grown on me.

Just to confirm. If I put a normal order 'not tiger spec' in today they should ship in about a week? I'm kicking myself for selling my last set and want to give them another try with my shaft of choice- Modus 125's

I doubt that...more like end of July for any order being entered at this time....tm has no heads.

With that delivery date sounds like he is hoping to get a set by then. Every set of custom irons I ever ordered from TourSpec I had in 3-5 business days via Japan Post.. Wonder where these are coming from.. Love to see the proof this “intense” model is made in Japan. Wonder what part a Tailor had in making these..

Last week before my other set came in I checked one last time and was told “ for 4-pw ship date first week of July “. “ for 3-pw could be another 8 weeks “. Straight from the rep. To me that meant no 3 iron heads in the next batch of heads.

Lol. Yes and no. P7tw never came. It was June 1. Then. June 13 .... then June 13 if I settled for 4-pw. Order canceled a while back. My shop canceled his 2 other orders too as the expected date got pushed to June 13 if they deleted the 3 iron. When asked if that was a guaranteed ship date or arrival date they got “ well we aren’t guaranteeing anything “. So he canceled on the spot. They have no heads is the truth.

Ordered a blueprint set through my rep and a contact , built in the tour dept with their tour grind ( double cut leading edge ) weight sorted heads with modus 130x and tv cord grips ( the ones Tm says are backordered ) ...and had them in hand 2 days after release date. Couldn’t be happier. I’ll likely own a set of these once they come down into the $700 range for a used set. But I refuse to pay $1800-2k for a second handed set off eBay. That’s just nuts. I figure $500 or more of the original price was for the novelty of buying them new and getting them first. That’s long since dead now.

If I had to wager a guess I’d say Golftown is marking the blueprints up $200 as that’s literally $1000 more than I can buy 4-pw for.

When I priced the blueprints the shaft and grip upgrade cost made it a wash vs tw’s.

Yep. But ping has free DG just like TM. I know TM gives other free shafts too. But if you’re comparing the most common p7tw then it’s DG. So shaft upcharges aren’t reallly in it. But sure. I get that Tm bridges some gap with free shafts too. But nobody gives my 130 modus away. So doesn’t matter to me. Blueprints are $212 a club in stock form ... modus 105 , dg 105 , 120 s300 x100 , Amt etc are feee options.

Well...I think I'm back on TW train. My shop had a demo night today and I got to compare the Cobra MBs to the TWs on grass this time. The TW irons to me are just flat out solid. I don't know what it is, but they just made me tingle and feel all warm and soft inside. Don't get me wrong, the Cobras are great and feel good as well. I might just have to be patient and forget what TM has put people like Blade through and try and get a set. My emotions are all jacked up right now... hahaha.

Here is how I look at it, regardless of the fact that there is not going to be a Limited release, there still the type of iron you are not going to see in many other players bags. I gamed my 2014 Taylormade MB’s since the day they came out. I ordered a set of these with the mindset of gaming them for possibly the next decade, I will for sure never get rid of them whenever I upgrade in the future. I absolutely love them, the feel, the looks give you confidence every time you pull one out of the bag. Bottom line, go with what your gut tells you!

I’d give them an honest go if someone handed me a set. The short irons are the best looking I’ve ever seen. I’m just not going to pay TM a profit and reward the treatment I got. Lol. The Taylormade logo is The only thing wrong With these.
