I did not think they were that big. The sole is almost identical to the standard apex when held side by side. The back sticks out a little. Not much offset at all. As far as the lofts, i hit the 7 side by side with my p760 6 iron which should be close and the epic forged was getting me 5 to 7 yards more carry. I just look at it like its the number plus 1. It doesn't really bother me. I don't care what club goes what distance as long as I have them covered.

I got to hit this iron yesterday withe a steel fiber shaft. Typically I am right around 130-133 ball speed and 7K spin with a 7 iron. This iron was easily and I mean easily 25 yards longer. It is stupid long for an iron. I was carrying a 7 iron 225 with this and getting 140 plus ball speeds.. I don't think those distances are playable for someone like me, but in the right hands it could make the game much easier and more fun. They also felt surprisingly good. They didnt have a hollow feeling like say the I500s or other irons that you could say are in the same category.

We just got these in at our shop. Just a longer more forgiving iron is all. Only reason they are longer is because they are delofted. Good feel though.

Yes I did and I actually like the stock shaft. I'm getting a set for sure.

Nice! I have set of BPs too, great comparison. My buddy plays blades and he hit these. He said they were so much fun to hit that he is contemplating adding some in to his set makeup.

What shafts do you have in the Blueprint irons? Isn’t the stock Steelfiber really light? I was going to order a set with Steelfiber 90 just because I felt the stock shaft might feel too vague.

Honestly these irons don't look too bad to my eye. I'm on the fence about the lofts. Not sure they are really aimed at me. My current 7 iron goes about 165. I like my gaping as it is right now. Not sure I need a 7 iron to go 180+. The price will keep me away for 12-18 months until they land on CPO or the bay. Enjoying the Apex 19's right now.
