I’ve owned 2 Scotty’s, bought one new and both were the 2012 select deep milled. I had a new golo and then a used Newport 2 a few years ago for a week. I’m hopeful on this line as I don’t like aluminum inserts or any of Scotty’s recent inserts like you said. Just feels off.

I talked to one of the guys at Scotty's custom shop about this same question and he said that the way the hosel is located on the Fastback that it would have more toe hang than the Newport & Newport 2. Hope this helps.

Don’t worry fellas, just buy a 35”. Then you can send it over to me at J-Rob’s Custom Shop. I’ll butt trim it 2” and throw on a nearly new Star grip for only $100. Lead tape adjustments are extra of course.

some people were lucky and have 33s ordered

Right. I own and game the Studio Select no. 1 and would be interested in this release, but not if I can't actually game it because it has such a high toe hang/flow.

I'm surprised with the lack of demand on the Fastback. I would figure anyone that wanted a Newport or Newport 2 Teryllium would already have one.

Fastback is a pretty popular model and this is the first version of it in the Teryllium. Unless I'm overestimating the popularity of the Fastback?
