Being WRX though, these made-fors will all be on the BST/bay for $40 while we use our own shafts

i understand the manufacturers/retailers perspective and what makes sense for their business, but it would be nice to just get a head only ?

Is the screw on the front sole of the fw for adjustment of a large internal weight....Like the weight that was visible on the bottom of the m5 fw.

Or, is it simply a weight screw and no internal moveable weight.

I like the look of it. Always preferred the M6 sole over the M5, and it looks like the SIM is a combination of both with a colour change. Nice.

Tha HZRDUS Yellow Smoke small batch vs non are 2 completely different profile, material and feeling shafts. They have different weight, specs and butt diameters. One has a tapered butt and one does not. The non feels lifeless when hit and the small batch is a great feeling shaft.

As I mentioned the small batch are used as four shafts and the yellow smalls batch is a tx but they are based off the same design. Just like the yellow smoke 60 is different than the 70.

I could not disagree more about them being based off the same design. I’ve played with both and even putting both side by side the non has a non taper butt. The TS, TX Small batch taper smoothly from tip to buy and are even noticeable thinner towards the butt section. They may share a counterbalance theme but that’s it. They feel COMPLETELY different. Titleist charges 150 up charge for the small batch and it’s well worth it!

Of course they are going feel different based on the fact they have different weights and different torque but they are still same overall design. A change in flags and/or material used will change feel. I have a one off shaft from px that changing the material used to run the full length of the shaft changed the feel by increasing toque and changed nothing else about the design.

Basically the Staff bag is gray at the bottom and white at the top with blue piping throughout. Some will probably think it looks goofy because of how they made the transition from the gray into the white.

I love the color scheme, but sad to see the the fade weighting go back to the front of the club. Maybe the justification is an overall lower and farther back CG, but the weight tracks on the M5 were a huge help for me.

They are not the same. The non X feels heavy, plasticky lifeless and boardy and the Small batch TX feels less stiff but more stable in TX. Feels like tour ADDI for small batch vs the worst feeling shaft ever for the non.
