Scotty rant. New Scotty T22s Release date 8/16. Profiteers cleaning up.

I was going to flip mine when I picked it up yesterday, but just didn't have it in me to leave it in the plastic. Took it out for a round yesterday and shot -1 with a few nicely rolled putts. Don't know if it'll stay in the bag over the 009, but figured I can always get my $600 back out of it with them going for $800 on the secondary market. For $200, I'd rather game it.

Couldn’t have said that better! The flipping is MOD APPROVED on whatever they deem. How is the SWAG, Jordan’s, Scotty’s, Nike’s an acceptable clear flip, MOD APPROVED, but throw a pair of shoes on here and members and mods will flag it like crazy calling it a business and blatant flipping and you ad disappears and you get a warning!! WTF??!!

Banning the Nike Ross / Marshall's / TJ Max shoe sales never made sense. People were only clearing $10-$30 per transaction after paypal fees, shipping, gas, time, etc. and buyers were getting new Nike shoes at a decent price well below retail. I assume that some sponsor(s) who sell Nike shoes got upset and pressured the mods to ban the sales.

Agreed. I bought a few pair in different sizes and went out of my way to get them. Offered to friends first. Nobody had the right size. At what I offered them at here my profit would have been about a 4 or 6 pack of good beer. And may not have even covered that. I didn’t view it as a profit as much as a prepaid thank you haha. Even at the “profit” everyone won. For the extra few bucks I still thought I was doing someone else a bit of a favor. I know I’d have been happy to give someone 10- 15 bucks if I was on the other side of it.

Welcome to the supply and demand economic model. If this is your first experience in life not getting what you wanted, consider yourself lucky.

*I see some kind soul felt bad for you and extended one at MSRP further reinforcing your whiney narrative. This thread is unbelievable.

Stores are now flipping them?!? Profit?!? To hell with them all...!!!

Don’t auto dealerships do this on every single new car they sell?

given the number that was produced, i don't believe it was that hard to obtain one.. probably took less effort than coming here and ranting

The Nike’s from Ross/Burlington we’re banned because the BST became literally OVERRUN by people coming out of the woodwork listing 20-30 pairs of shoes at one time with all the different sizes etc. Yuge difference. The BST was a Nike outlet for a few days. And then people started posting what they had in the main threads and the mods locked that down too. Clearly flipping for INCOME purposes.

Joe_forum member flipping his extra T22 for a few hundy is not in the same league.

Get over it or keep whining let the butthurt flow through you. It’s just another limited Scotty release. As of COB today they are secondary market now. It’s clearly evident by the new listing prices on eBay that they are going to go up. And yes I sold an extra one and made a little extra. You think used ones are going to sell less than retail? Go look at button back pricing today. The only time these putters will ever be $599 was if you managed to get one during this release.

I think of the premium price above the retail price as "time and effort spent". Unfortunately, the people who were able to purchase these putters before you spent a far greater time and a far greater effort than you did.

No offense but I feel you are like a 5 year old who did not receive a Tickle Me Elmo for Christmas because it was sold out.

Not to worry, I’ve found one for less than original MSRP!

If you are upset at people selling above MSRP, you should _really_ be upset with those poor souls that are being forced to pay that much for them. They’re complicit in this scheme to exploit unsuspecting people.

First, just because something is "legal" doesn't make it right. While I was frustrated my difficulty obtaining one, the real frustration which was illustrated in my Cameron Club example is the "special" availability of the putters and CC items prior to the published release date. Its really those individuals that Itake the most issue with. They take advantage of the privilege granted to because of a certain status to shop early with the clear intent to flip for ridiculous prices. They should have that privilege revoked. If that isn't exploitation, I don't know what is.

And if that isn’t enough google the soccer stadiums in Qatar for the next world cup.

This x100. There are people out there who don't want to get into click contests or pound the phones. I'm sure a lot of us have sold stuff on eBay/BST/elsewhere where our widget is $100 and doesn't sell, yet the exact same widget sells for $200 a day later and we're like "WTF?" Well, that buyer didn't want to shop around (even if that required scrolling down a page), he just wanted it at that very moment. It's all part of the deal.

These were assembled in California. And the heads were milled in California.

Read my last post. For many, it required no effort but the privilege of early access.

For the T22s, there was no "privilege" required to get in early. Took a little bit of hustle, perhaps, but no special juice.

For other Club Cameron stuff like the bags, sure, you have to have paid to get the early access and then you need to have a quick trigger finger.

Not true sir. I personally know 2 guys that were granted early access and got them 8 days early. They did not flip them. I cant get into specifics but I assure you, they were released early to certain people.
