Not having any issues on the latest IOS on my iPad, I had a good few sessions on it before the latest firmware update and it was working fine. Since the firmware update I have been getting more no read’s but it may be because I hadn’t checked if it was still in short indoor mode. I’ve yet to use it since that was suggested.

I’m running the latest version (16.1.1) on both my iPad pro and iPhone 13 and have not had any issues.  I would suggest to delete the app and reinstall.

Does mevo plus have a problem picking up the club head and clubface when swinging over 100mph?

 

I get perfect reads on all my irons but I get path and ftp issues (mostly the face reading hard left) with driver and 3w.

These were in July outdoor with two cracked sim ProV1 I'd brought to the range. Ignore the wonky AoA numbers as it was off slightly uneven turf so the tee height was approximated. Probably still negative but I doubt -3.7 is accurate. Hitting area to unit distances were precise as I have a cable measure on the bag for 9'.

 

Perfectly imitated what I saw flight-wise, though it's been one or two firmware updates since then.

I can't help you with short indoor, though. I'm faster now than I was then and I get too many estimated spin reads with 4w and driver so I don't use them inside very often.

Short answer - no. The only issue it can have at higher speeds is spin and spin axis. The unit measures the path and launch direction (99.9%+ accuracy) and the face is a direct calculation from those numbers. The only way it could be wrong is if your path and launch direction are also wrong which is highly unlikely. 

 

Personal experience:

Earlier this fall I was also showing very closed FTP numbers in my simulator and sure enough the next round I played outside I was hitting huge pull draws.

Taking a long time for Flightscope to get the app update out and announce official support for the RCT ball but it must be nearly here. Titleist website now showing X3 and M+ support.

The dot thing is a minor pain but I'm used to it.... I've been too cheap to justify the extra cost BUT if there's a sale I'd consider it.

Seems they slightly updated the interface on the iPad app, along with Myflightscope.com. No other obvious changes - will need to get outside and test to see. But I'll only do that after this almighty thunderstorm is passed 😅

They added RCT and changed the alignment interface significantly.

Love that the alignment screen has been simplified. No more line and ball...just a line that's supposed to run through the ball to your target

Yeah, but i don't think old session data is in the review session screen. My session from yesterday was there for review, but my prior 6 weeks of sessions were only in the cloudspace

Something has happened to your data. I just check and I have everything starting from december 2020 on my ”review sessions”. All clubs and balls are also like they used to be. 🤔

Previous club data was in the review sessions window. But the clubs I added to fs golf had to be re-added to capture new session data on them

I just try it out and all added clubs and added balls were available in new sessions and setups.

I purchased the Mevo + last week.  Decided today was the day I was going to set it up and mess around.  I think I had everything set up correctly: latest download, iPhone 13 Pro, 25 foot room so plenty of distance to the net, sticker on ball.

I was able to level the Mevo on the stand and my alignment looks good through the camera.

One problem, it says ready and then when I swing: nothing.

What am I doing wrong?

If you hit into a net or screen then you have to set it up as indoor or short indoor. Short indoor only if you have very little space. 

 

Outdoor mode is only for the range where you have unrestricted ballflight. If you're outside hitting into a net, set it to indoor. 

 

Do yourself a favor and get one of these to guarantee your alignment is spot on.

Almost certainly in outdoor mode.

I’ll try using a speed square, but the camera showed it dead down the line.

I was in indoor mode.  Then I switched to short indoor and still nothing.

I will double check this though.

 

Can the room be too dark?  It’s lighter than most sim rooms, but not bright at all.

Did you measure the distance from the mevo+ to the ball and input that into the settings? If you're too far away it won't register.

It can be pitch black. The radar doesn’t require light. Although, I don’t know how darkness would affect the camera portion of Fusion tracking. But you definitely should get recognition of impact and some numbers. 
 

Even with interference caused by fluorescent lights and/or large metal objects, you should still get a reading. 
 

if all else fails, my go-to fix when something weird is going on is to turn the Mevo+ off and (carefully) remove the battery for a few minutes. But you shouldn’t have to do that with a new unit. If things don’t start working, I would call Flightscope on the 27th.
