Just booked our summer golf trip yesterday which will include 2 rounds at Arcadia Bluffs in northern Michigan. May not be as well known as some but its been on my bucket list for some time now.

I don't think of it as a bucket list, I've been lucky enough to play some marvelous courses in beautiful spots around the world. I guess my big "bucket list" thing is retirement, which is likely to be only a year or so away. After than, I'll be able to afford the time to make a few road trips, to places like Sweetens Cove, or Streamsong, or even into Canada to Nova Scotia. Having the time will allow me to enjoy the journey to get to these places, as opposed to flying in and out and seeing nothing in the middle.

Planning a Scotland trip this summer. We’re thinking Royal Dornoch, Nairn and two St Andrews courses. Hopefully we hit on the Old Course ballot. There are six golfers. Any thoughts on our Old Course chances?

bout zero as a foursome or threesome ... good as anyone else's as an individual, though ... there were 3 openings in the middle of the day this past july 15th or so, after the light rain of the morning had dissipated ... you never know ... do 36 at dornoch ... be a helluva day ...

World class links golf courses are all on my list and knocking 6 out in Ireland in late April.

European Club, Old Head, Waterville, Tralee, Ballybunion, and Lahinch. Super stoked.

Also hoping to get out to Bandon again late fall. Played Bandon Dunes last year but haven't played the others + Sheep Ranch looks amazing!

Other than Augusta National, which I'm confident I will never play, the only "bucket list" course in the U.S. for me is Pebble. That box will be checked either this fall or next spring. I don't really have any other courses on our native soil that are "musts" - I can be happy playing just about any course, anywhere, and enjoy playing new ones when I get the chance. Someday when I can just drive and not worry about when I get back, playing new courses in various spots will be part of the program, but I've still got a couple of national parks I'd like to see and some mountains and some desert and who knows.

Not necessarily a bucket list, but goals for this year is to play Trump Ferry Point and a trip north to Cabot Links with my wife. Ideally Cabot would be a road trip as she's never been north of NY, but the extra time may be hard to come by with some other trips on the books already for the year.
