People can wear whatever, but in my "extraordinarily humble" opinion all of those clothes are ugly AF.

Who cares about the collar. What amounts to sweat pants with a cargo pocket and a t-shirt...it all looks like shht. Never understood the "look at my ankles" look anyway.

Wear it...don't wear it, I'll take your money or you'll take mine. I wont even poke fun. Your clothes aren't my business. Still ugly. Never liked the mock necks either...it ain't old school, it's preference.

And those new shoes aren't great either. I have 2-3 pairs of adidas every season....might just stick to last year lol...

I hate the T-shirt collar/blade collar look. A button up blade collar/t-shirt looks even worse.

If you want to wear a t-shirt/mock turtleneck/blade collar, just wear a T-shirt. Stop pretending it’s fancy. It isn’t. It looks awful. Go play tennis instead.

I'm not sure Palace have collaborated with any UK soccer teams. The only soccer collabotration i'm aware of is this season's Juventus fourth shirt.

Also as someone who is also into both golf and skateboarding, skateboard co's being overtly commercial doesn't sit comfortably. You'd never get companies like Dogtown, Alva or SMA doing anything like this.

I think it’s ugly. And there is exactly one person who cares what I think......me. What I think of what anyone else wears is irrelevant. If it’s within the dress code, and you like it, wear it proudly. I wear jeans quite frequently, I know many people are revolted by that, but that’s their problem, not mine.

Golf fashion is, IMHO, an oxymoron. For decades golfers have been mocked for their fashion. See caddyshack, the movie.

Depending on the course, I look like a bum or a tour pro. Whatever I do, I don't want others to be uncomfortable or embarrassed by my attire. Especially if I'm a guest.

As for pros, they're getting paid a hefty sum to wear their outfits and shoes. I'll start critiquing their outfits when they start dressing themselves.

Definitely didn't like that look either. And when he finally made his comeback I saw people wearing them again. Fugly.

 

There just wasn't social media (as much) for people to complain about stuff. I just said it at home.

The retail version doesn't have the button. It looks just like a regular t-shirt. I think the retail t-shirt in black looks really cool, but I would probably get some looks at my club.

I was never a fan of Tiger's mock necks (and though I actually recalledl lots of criticisms of that attire), but I think the imperative thing with a no collar shirt is that it simply must not be white. Rahm's look wouldn't have been nearly as bad if the top was a different color. White make it look too much like an undershirt.

Nope! Lol thanks for the jinx tho. Golf is the least athletic thing I do, had so many injuries in my younger days that I will die working my bum off to avoid risk factors. Plus my granddads don’t have them, and they are not doing CrossFit or anything.

and the only time I have worn collars in the past decade has been for funerals, being best man once, or if laundry day and golf day happen to fall on the same date?

no backwards hats lmao. I’ll be the one out there in a bucket hat and a henley. Same as it ever was. Now if jordan comes out with some vegan options, I’m all over that

Anyway, I was looking forward to the Palace collab but I'm not feeling this at all. The no collar shirts look like garbage because they're effectively a t-shirt and a tucked in t-shirt isn't a great look on anyone. Simple as that.

I was looking forward to this collab as well, but it sort of fell flat especially at those typical Palace prices. I honestly think the sales will be mostly from the regular streetwear crowd, and not so much from actual golfers. I might pick up one of the jackets with some leftover Adidas gift cards.
