Not every company can be like Costco. ? but I’d say Nike is pretty generous when it comes to their return policy. How old were the shoes? Can’t warranty a wear item like shoes forever...

$$$ show me the money! $$$ I agree with you that they don’t care as much now as 5years ago, however imo, they are still putting forth effort. Whether it’s Using react in the Jordan xi’s, innovative cleats in the IP and ZIT or am1g they are only selling what is going to make money. If they didn’t care at all we wouldn’t see new things coming out.

I certainly believe that they’ve made good on their word when exiting hard goods that they’re going back to what they know - shoes and clothing - albeit with a smaller budget.

Bought the Nike Reach Infinity Pros. Run really small and narrow. I usually am a 12.5 and the 13 were dead on.

My wide pairs arrive on Tuesday. Nike golf shoes traditionally don’t fit me so it will be interesting to see how the wides fit. I ordered 10 and 10.5.

I'm still a big Nike fan but in my opinion the shoe division needs a complete overhaul in terms of product planning and offerings. The apparel and the other soft good items (i.e. belts, Tour Classic glove) are typically very good and they do a great job of marketing to a wide array of golfers. But the shoe direction is just odd the last 3-4 years. They had a really solid line with with the original Lunar Controls but completely scrapped the idea for the Vapor line. I would love for them to do a relaunch of the LC4, put the toe swoosh on the side, and add the new sole. Ignore the OU version of the below but something like the below but with the new spikeless pattern.

Agree 100%. Just making street shoes into golf shoes lately. Seriously? So lame. I get it with Jordan’s but 270s c’mon. This is a multi-billion dollar company we’re talkin bout here. We ain’t talkin PRACTICE. Seems like Nike is Iverson’ing it the last 3-4 years.

Disagree. People have been begging for AM1/Infinity react/AM90 type shoes for years. Add in them finally producing Jordan retros in numbers and I love where Nike is going with their golf shoe line. They’ve been producing some great “traditional”’ type shoes like the victory tours, vapor line, roshe g tour, TW71, etc. As well as the best golf shoe ever made IMO, the Tour Premieres.

The LC4 line sold terrible. I have like 8 pairs I picked up at Burlington that I’ll probably never wear.

Good post but that's what makes the consumer environment so challenging. I agree on having an option like the AM1 / Reacts and think for the most part they are good shoes (AM1 especially). However, I disagree on their recent "tour" models. The Victory Tour model looks like something my 72 year old dad would wear cutting the grass or grilling steaks. They are the New Balance 624 of golf shoes. The Vapor Pro isn't bad but feels cheap in spots, which is what happens sometimes in the $110-130 price range. The Tour Premiere, while extremely comfortable, I hated the look. Of the ones listed the TW71 to me was / is the best of the recent offerings.

I also don't see that many pairs anymore on the range or on the course. Some of that could be the Tiger effect. But the guys I play with who used to wear Nike have all moved over to Addidas, Puma, or, those looking for something a little extra, on to G/Fore.

yeahhhhhh i saw those too and was a little off-put by that. looks like under intense heat that may crackle or chip/flake off? Maybe its the lighting in it, but the white/greys and white/pink did not look to have that same finish as the black

Yes. I bought the pros but they are definitely too plasticky and too firm. Maybe that's how they're "water proofing" the flyknit??

Was looking forward to ordering the OG white/crimson/black colorway of the Infinity Tours as a birthday gift to myself, so chalk me up as very disappointed that it looks like it won't be available until late June. Hopefully NDC ships them early if you order through them and retailers are the ones who have to wait.

If history has shown us anything, it's that flyknit in golf shoes is absolutely nothing like the running shoes. Fair enough too as the React Infinity flyknit is literally so thin its see thru. But it's still kinda lame. Remember the Flyknit Racer G??

I think the lc4 sold so bad because it felt like a complete retread of the LC3 just with a different heel cup/swoosh location. And as for the original post, the lunar command basically was the continuation of the lunar control, which is probably why a lot of tour players wore that over the lunar control vapor with the AIC sole.
