Nike Footwear 2020 (NO BUY/SELL/TRADE POSTS)

Yep, and those shoes were TERRIBLE for playing in. The only pair in his signature line that I only bought one pair of and immediately threw out after about two times of trying to hoop in them. It happens more than most of the general public realizes. Sometimes a shoe just doesn't perform like it should or fit correctly.

People blaming poor golf play on a pair of shoes is absolute comedy. An NBA player not wanting to play in their signature shoe because of discomfort does not mean the shoes themselves caused them to play poorly. Jordan wore his signature Jordan 1 in his first game after his return to the NBA from retirement years after the technology had become outdated and his feet were bleeding after the game, and he put up 42 points. I can understand it interfering with your focus a bit, perhaps if your heel is coming up or you're sliding, but the technology of the shoe didn't make you play poorly. Everyone has their own preference, just say you didn't like the way they felt lol.

FYI for those who purchased from Golf Galaxy, I just received an email from their customer service team after I had opened an inquiry and they said that their sale listing of the ZIT was a "presale that ends June 5th" and that "the shoes would ship after the presale concludes on that date." So safe to start expecting tracking info probably beginning June 6.

You can’t deny another person’s personal opinion on the shoe. I am not saying you will shoot worse, but several have stated they are not as stable as they thought, nor as comfortable, along with a ton of positive reviews, not everything is the same for everyone.

The only absolute in golf is, a bogey is coming at some point

I've been away from the forum for a bit:

1) those asking about sizing and how they fit, i dont suggest doing that. everybodys feet are different AND some prefer a different fit. some may like snug vs room. I, personally, order every nike shoe in the same size and have no complaints

2) i walked 9 in my whites this past saturday. whoever said the feel is closer to the pegasus rather than the infinity run is right, from what i could feel. pegasus have a really spongey/bounce like feel and i got the same feel out of the ZITs. those hex air bags are AWESOME. Cleaning was extremely easy

2a) i own the infinity run and there is one key thing missing from those shoes in the ZIT. the infinity run has a beam on both sides of the shoe that goes from the heal to the mid-foot area. i have plantar fasciitis and that offers great arch support. i wish it was on the ZITs but theres so much cushioning i can't complain

2b) not important, but i actually played one of my better rounds of the year and hit my longest drive of the year in them lol

3) wear and tear: the course i play at requires you to walk a good bit on concrete, although i try and walk on the grass as much as i can. as soft as the spikes feel, the tread looks just like they did when they came out of the box. i own multiple pairs of golf shoes specifically so i can rotate and not worry about losing tread on my spikeless shoes. but in time i do anticipate on them eventually wearing down, it happens

4) brooks koepka and production: all staff athletes have molds of their shoe. it is very possible that brooks asked to have his remade and with him playing across EU at the time maybe it was not logistical to get his shoes to him given that side of the world saw the pandemic hit first. also in regards to his play which i highly doubt was shoe related, but it could be...didnt he have some wrist injury??

Well I am just back from a range and chipping 2.5 hour session with the shoes.

I have long narrow feet, weigh 222lbs at 189cm and certainly not fat!

Super comfy.

Two randoms commented on them at the range.

I can see what folk say about not being stable - On my follow through the first few I was like this felt weird but it is just they are narrow compared to my AM1, TPs. After a few swings I stopped noticing.

Grip is great.

Walking feels sooooooo good!

Feet felt an OK temperature considering its over 90 here.

Tour Premieres are my favourite shoes; I hate my Am1s and only use them at the range, also have LC2's here in Texas - The Tps have a good battle on this week; will use the ZIT;'s if I play Wednesday but definitely on Friday.

I just got my white/gray ZITS, and I think these are some of the best looking golf shoes I've ever had.

I'll also give my impression of fit, but bear in mind that as has been mentioned, fit is very personal. I don't think anybody has feet like mine - wide, big supination, high instep. It makes finding comfortable shoes challenging. I sized up half a size and got the wide version, and the fit is really good, about as good as any Nike shoe I've worn. The shoes are extremely comfy. I can't imagine these would stretch too much due to the waterproof membrane, but that's fine. I only have one small hot spot on the outside of my right pinky toe.

That being said, for my wide foot, I feel like I'm wearing ice skates. I can't think of any other way to explain it. It just feels like I'm standing on a big cushion atop a narrow bar. It's really odd. I'm going to walk 18 this weekend and see how it goes. I have no idea how this is going to feel for a full round because this shoe has such a weird feel to me.

Anyway, I hope they work out because they really are a great looking shoe.

Anyone blaming poor play on shoes are definitely looking for an excuse but I wouldnt be shocked at all to know a pro like brooks wears a different shoe. Most of the Pros do, whether its a custom size to their foot, additional padding or zoom in certain areas. Tiger has shoes that are custom made on the heel. The big name pros wear one off things all the time

Got mine today. Holy...Moly.

I walked in them briefly and I thought my Tour360 Primeknits were comfy. These are twice as good. I will be doing a 30 min range session tomorrow after work then walking 9 holes Wednesday and Thursday in my leagues. Cant wait for the full test.

I like golf. A lot.

It’s actually my right foot that is slightly smaller- which would certainly make sense, however, blisters on the left have me curious.

They fit nice and tight- not uncomfortable by any means- just as they should. Heel wasn’t moving whatsoever, felt nice and locked in, so I’m unsure what the issue is!

Good thought though.
