What is your highest lofted wedge?

I disagree with that, I’d be lost without mine. It’s much easier to judge distance with a square faced 64 than an open 60.

Unless set playing an older set of irons with a weaker PW, I've been a 50/54/58 guy since I first bagged a set of 695cb's 13ish years ago. When playing a set with a 47-48* PW, then I go 52/58. Was never comfortable with a 60* previously, and happy with make up since I switched.

60* for me. Currently rock a 46*pw, 50*aw (both from my M6 set) and then a mismatch of Cleveland wedges I've put in the bag over the last few years. 52*, 56*, 60*.

I don't really consider the pw and aw "wedges" though, as they go so far.

The 60 is great for delicate short side chips or Phil Mickelson flops, and at 3/4 power with a decent strike is great around 60 ish yds.

I do find that I really have to commit to the shot with the 60*, or else it will definitely be a skull or a duff. I also find that if the ball is too deep in the rough, or propped up too high it can cause issue with the 60*. In that case I tend to go to the 56*

Sorry, don't have a 58 but a 56 and a 60. In the last 2 months there were only 2 occasions I would have liked to have had the 60 in the bag, as I snookered myself behind a tree.

My current lob wedge is a 58*

I consider it more of a specialty club, out of sand, over an obstacle, in the rough right next to the hole, etc..

For all my normal chips I try to use my 54* Sand Wedge. More consistent.

 

I did use a 60* lob for a bit and hit some nice chips with it, but also hit plenty of shots where the ball just rolled over the club or went two feet... and of course the dreaded blade/skull. But if you have the skill to play a 60 then all the power to you.

 

As for the 64*... good for chipping practice balls around the living room. Can't imagine bringing it to a golf course.

47, 56, 59. The numbers mean nothing to me. They're all totally different.

47 is a strong AW I can hit 3 different ways.

56 does it all, sand fairway or rough.

59 flops or hits high sand shots.

my current wedge setup is a 50 and 54 , started this year with a 58 too , since I figured out it only cost me strokes outside the bunkers, I ditched it in favour of the 54....

56* for me. Like to open the face and can hit high, soft flops with it. Much rather practice different shots with one club than multiple clubs. Very rarely wish I had more loft

Im in the 52, 56. I've been tempted to get a 60 but every time I pick one up out of a buddies bag 50% of the shots arent good "golf shots". I use my 52 for pretty much everything other than sand.

58°, although it only gets used when I'm super short sided, probably once a round. Debating removing it and giving myself another option at the other end of the bag.

I've been using 50, 54, 58 and love the setup. I rarely need to open the face and add loft to the 58, but easy enough to manipulate.

58 here too. 60's and me don't get along. Wouldn't think that 2 degrees would matter all that much but for some reason it does. 🤷‍♂️
