I bounce between 58 and 60. It's currently 60, using a 55/60 combination on top of my Ram Tour Grinds. I've also gone with a lone 58 or even 56 on top of these Rams. The 60 in bag right now is used almost exclusively for around the green situations, or in the sand. I don't like taking full swings with it. Largely the same with the 58, when that's the highest loft.

Have been giving some thought to going 56/62. Not sure it's quite necessary, but I like to space out the lofts of my wedges a bit more, and a 50/56/62 or 51/56/62 appeals slightly more to me at the moment. It may only be a "grass greener on other side of fence" thing, though.

I never seemed to get along with the 60, and can get all the loft I need off the 58. It is also a good distance for me if I want a full swing shot.

I used to carry a 58, but it didn't have as much versatility for me as the 56. Perhaps I didn't get along with the grind of that particular wedge (Mizzy S5), but I'm more comfortable on full shots, bunker shots, and open-faced flops with my Cleveland 56.

58 for me. Used to carry 52, 56 and 60 but realized I rarely use the 56. So now I go 52 and 58 and don’t miss carrying 3 wedges at all. Learned to hit all types of shot with the 58 and my short game improved greatly. Plus I save myself $150 when I replace my wedges.

Put a 62 in the bag last year since we have mostly elevated greens and at times pretty heavy rough around them. I rarely use it for full shots, but will there’s a front/tucked pin. It’s not coming out any time soon.

Since taking up the game I carried a 60* wedge, dam near slept with it. LW is my #1 club followed by 2 iron.

Anyway, I never had a distance issue with 60*, all it requires is anticipate a closer landing spot and added spin. I will only carry 2 wedges plus PW. Back in 2016 I decided to try out 2 Vokey wedges, still using them too. My PW was and still is 47* so I went with 52/8* and 58/8* and haven't looked back. The only difference between 58 & 60 LW is given the same landing spot, 58 will have fractionally more run out than 60. With full-shot trajectory shots, the difference isn't noticeable, ball stops equally as quick and spins back the same.

64 followed by 58, 54. I found having more wedges opens up a lot more scoring chances. Any average player, or even a really good player, isn’t gonna knock down flag sticks from 200+ yards. A lot of times it’s gonna be a green missed so having the best chance to save par made sense to me. Also I rarely have shots over say 200 except par 5s and even then it’s manageable with less than a 3 wood so I removed that club and just went with a strong 5 wood. How often does anyone that isn’t an elite ball striker pull off the 250 yard 3 wood anyway?

60* with 4* bounce. Also I pretty much only use it with an open face so I have some bounce. I can spin chips and pitches pretty easily out of fairways with it, and it works well for short sided pins out of the rough. Also have my set pw at 44, aw at 49, then a 52 and 54. The 54 gets most of the chips with rollouts and fried eggs out of shallow bunkers. Eventually I will replace my 54 with a 56 and the aw with a 48. I have my eye on a 62 as well, who knows... I will say before this season a 58 was it, I’m happy I got the 60.

I've got a 64* in the bag. I'd love to take it out, so I could put a driving iron in the bag, but it is absolute magic when I've hit my approach somewhere stupid. Short sided is rarely a big deal with it in the bag.

Have used a 60° since the mid 80's when I found a Lynx Master Model 60° wedge from Japan in a golf shop in LA ... Indispensable IMO. I use it for little touch shots around the greens and in bunkers all the way out to 75 yards. I frequently hit full swing wedges and the 60 is no exception.

One thing I have found though is you have to use your discretion in the rough as you can find yourself hitting up the clubface if you get under it. In those case where it's a questionable lie I'll defer to the 56°, which has bigger and wider bounce. Oh, and have tried 64 a few times and never seems to work for me.

64 but I only chip with it when absolutely necessary. You really need to commit to a chip with it, any hesitation and it’ll screw up. However, as a club for 20-40y pitches and flops it’s magical. Also it’s a great club to blast out of fescue-type rough and not end up 60y too far.

If an 8I or a putter can get to the hole I use those, if not my PW, then a 54, then the 60 and only if all that fails then it’s the 64. Usually a couple of shots per round only, but the flops you can pull off with it are truly the most satisfying shots in golf. I messed up an approach shot the other day and went about 25y past the 18th green onto a bare lie by the chipping green. Of course I had an audience plus 25y of rubbish lie between me and the green which was also about 5y lower than my ball. Took almost a full swing with open face, went about 30y high and dropped to about 3ft from the pin, no roll on a hard green. Sunk the putt for a par, clapped off by the voyeurs.
