Even par 72. (6,560, 71.3/129) 2 birdies and 2 bogeys. Hitting the ball about 220 with driver right now. Sciatica back again down my right buttock and upper quad. But I can't stay away.

85 my second best round ever to date.

I had zero birdies but I played the round smart and had a hot putter so I was picking up pars even when I shouldn't have picked up par. I think my smartest move was playing my 3W off the tee the last 3-4 holes, kept the ball in play and shot pars and bogeys.

76 with 35 putts after hitting 15 greens. Inclusive of three 3 putts.

Put a new grip on my putter to try out and hated it after the first putt, so that came off as soon as I got home.

Put a new shaft in my driver, always been a heavy shaft guy and put a 53g Fuji in to see if that helped me shallow/close the face down a little easier.

Had my best driving day with 8 of 14 fairways. 5 of the 6 missed were just a foot or two in the rough but where I was aiming. 1 of the missed fairways what a short par 4 where I was pin high 10 yards left of the green. Also drove a par 4 and sunk for 60 footer for eagle (still hate the grip)

My last 4 rounds have all been under 31 putts so if I can have the same round just with better putts I think I got something good going.

Not today but this weekend. Shot 90 and 88 in the club championship. Coming from someone who usually shoots low 80’s high 70’s it was quite a mental blow to my game. Sometimes you got it and sometimes you don’t I guess.

Played my first ball buster, humbling lol

Oddly enough the meltdown holes had little to do with pin location

Bad round. After par par par, if was bogeys all the ways   Was texting my date  and got hissy that I was playing golf on that day. Couldn’t concentrate after that trying to play and text her rest of the round to savage the date. Learn my lesson to take care of the flirting either before the round or after

73. 2 over Par.

been struggling with driver lately. Just not in control with it to the point I want it to be.  Started off good after a couple range sessions but a couple bad drives snuck up on me near the end of the round.

Good score but way to many opportunities missed.

40 with a triple and two birdies and only one par.  The birdies were wonderful though.  Shortish par 5 that I two-putted for bird and then on a par three I hit a nine iron to 7 feet.

I recently switched putters and have been really happy with it so far.  I just need to get my tee to green game together.  Only 15 putts for the nine.  3 one putts and no three putts.

Just gotta get the tee-to-green game together.  Which is SIMPLE.

I’m a reasonably new player (played a couple of seasons and then got benched for several years after a weightlifting injury, now back at it) still struggling to stay under 100.

Played 9 tonight and started off poorly.

Par 5, hit the driver right past two rows of trees.  Thought I could make it pin high outside the trees, but pulled the second shot into the trees.  Third shot back into the fwy.  Finished the hole +2.

Second tee box, hit OB, third shot off the tee was right.  Approach was decent but next shot went over the green.  Took a +4 on the hole.

Par 3 w/ sand on both sides.  Went int he bunker and took two to get out.  + 2.  So I’m +8 after 3.

270 yard driver center fwy on hole 4.  Second shot was left of the green from 65 yards.  Chip got me close.  Par.

250 yard driver left side of fwy, then PW flew the green from 135 out.  Chipped over the green, chipped short, two putt for dbl bogey.  +10

Par 3 from 109, GW left off the green, 2 putt bogey.  +11

Par 5 hit a nice driver 288 yards center fwy and left me 196.  5i left me a 27’ putt (eagle look).  Left the ball 2.5’ out, tap in for birdie.  +10

Par 4 hit driver right and GW just short of the right side of the green.  Chipped close, tap in par.

Par 4 hit a driver 250ish into an uphill fwy.  GW out left pin high, chipped on, two putt bogey.  Finished with a 47, (+11).

Overall, I’m happy enough w/ the round as I can see where some stupid stuff just cost me strokes.  Feels like I’m reasonably close to getting those blow ups under control and posting scores closer to the low 40’s on 9.  If I can keep my expectations in check I know I will continue to enjoy it and my scores will keep creeping down.

I love starting a round with a solid drive and easy birdie. Holed out on 7 with a nice 40 yard one hop to cup.

I’m currently 0.1 and shot 72 today from 6900. 3 birdies and 3 bogeys. Hit 14 greens and 33 putts (too many). Made 2 longer birdie putts but missed 8 putts from between 8 to 15 feet (or so). Six of those were over the top edge and stopped just past the cup. Maybe better tomorrow?

Finally it happened. 74! Birdies last two holes to get it. I’ve not been playing good for awhile. Scored in between 78-82 and this round just put big smile on my face. My golfing buddy played good too so happy day for us.

41-37 for a 78.  Three doubles, three birdies, three balls in a hazard.

It's funny how I used to think doubles and balls in the hazard were total round killers.  Even with three balls in the hazard (and making double on two of those holes) I still got to 78 which I'm pretty happy with after going out in 41.
