OMG The Chiefs/Bills Game Just Took 10 Years Off My Life!!!

I'm still shaking, my heart is about to beat out of my chest.  That was one of the best games in NFL history!  I'm a lifelong Chiefs fan, so I'm elated.  But what a game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!🤩  All of this week's games were unbelievable!  What a time to be a football fan!

Great game. But OT rules blow, Bills deserved a shot. Flip of coin win is not desirable in playoff.

Yeah, the Chiefs got screwed on that in 2018 against the Pats in the AFC Championship game.  That's when your defense has to step up and keep the other team out of the end zone.  Easier said than done, especially when you're totally gassed.

It's an elimination game. Tie is not in the cards. Should be full quarter of ball.

I always liked the idea of just making playoff OT an extra period. Can only imagine how this game would have ended with 10-15 more minutes of that slugfest.

Kelce is tough to cover, no matter who is on him.  After Tyrann Mathieu got hurt, the Chiefs had no answer for Gabriel Davis.  That dude is hard to cover too.  What a game he had!

Yeah, the loss of Mathieu was huge, those huge seams in the deep middle just aren’t there with him in the game. 
 

Kelce is a tough cover no doubt, but especially at the end of regulation, you just can’t let him run free off the line. The quickest hitting pass play for an offense?  The slant. You just can’t let him off the line uncontested. Heck, if just make Mahomes scramble a couple steps, or wait a couple counts before he throws,  the clock runs out. But to allow an easy, quick pass like that….

That Monday Night game in 2018 was definitely a shootout.  I believe it was the highest-scoring MNF game ever.  And yeah, you can never count Brady out.  We learned that in the SB vs Atlanta.

Great games this weekend!  It seemed like everyone on TV was giving Buffalo the win with 13 seconds left and then Mahomes happened.  I was surprised that the Bills kicked off deep after the touchdown I was thinking they would kick it short of the goal line to try to kill some time off the clock.  I guess that they were afraid of a runback.

After they decimate the Bengals Sunday, do either the 9ers of Rams really have a chance??? I mean sure, that’s why they play the games. But good luck with that.

I could easily see the Rams winning it all. Their defensive front is outstanding, they've got the best WR this year, and a shutdown corner in Ramsey. The Bucs gave Mahomes all kinds of trouble in the last Super Bowl.

Incredible game, still shocked Mahomes was able to score with 13 seconds.  One of the all time best games I've ever witnessed.  

 

Regarding the OT, you knew whoever got the ball first was likely going to win.  It sucks how that works.  The chiefs tried to change that rule a couple years ago but most of the league didn't want to.  So what burned them in 2018 now gave them the W, all thanks to a coin flip.

 

Apparently Josh Allen was 9 and 0 in coin flips until that OT flip.

I’ve watched a lot of Rams games this season. They still have a tendency to be bi-polar on offense. If you get em on a good day they do have the talent to compete. As for the Bucs giving Mahomes all kinds of trouble in last years SB. I think the Chiefs have fixed those O issues since about week 4 this season. Let’s not forget the Bills have the best D in the league and Mahomes had absolutely no problem putting up points against em yesterday. Chiefs O looks simply unstoppable to me at this point. So many weapons and the ultimate weapon in (I don’t even think the cat’s human!) Mahomes! 😂

They did look pretty ruthless last night and the O-line is much stronger for sure. My thinking is just that the Rams have the right playmakers to force turnovers even if they get to Mahomes only a handful of times. For sure they are the favorite on paper, but the NFC basically has a home game for this Super Bowl. 

 

I hate to say it as a Ravens fan but the Chiefs can NOT afford to overlook the Bengals. Their offense can be downright scary when they get hot and they have a kicker that can get the job done if it comes down to a long kick with everything on the line.
