Anyone else notice on Day's 2nd shot on 17 some fan flinched right before the downswing. Not sure if it bothered him but he did hit it yards short with a good lie

So, I don’t think lifting weights or gaining weight did much for his golf.

 

He could have just done like non-strength training fitness and still killed everyone; )
 

 

Yup, the bed sheet he’s wearing is deceiving.
 

He claimed a big weight gain in those instructional vids with Butch and that it helped him with his swing changes and resulted in more consistency. 

 

Do I think it was a huge factor? No. I don’t think it should be pointed to as part of his demise either. Distance running and poor personal decisions played a much bigger factor imo.
