2022 Cobra Forged Tec Irons

I am really looking forward to this iron. IMO, its the best looking iron in the Players Distance category and price is better than most as well. 

 

I hope the performance matches the looks.

What’s the price point on these?

$170 per according to the GD article.

 

Compared to:

P790 - $186

i525 - $205

Mizuno 225 - $188

T200 - $186

Rogue ST Pro - $170 but the worst looking in the category IMO

Looks really good! Would like to see a pic at address for offset and top line. Initially they look a little more sleek than i525. I’m a cobra fan but not sure they suit my game. I could play 3 -5 probably, and maybe more, I’m getting old 😂

X version is an absolute cannon…goes for miles and at its price point could be very interesting

Looks like a ping i59. Not a bad thing necessarily. Not for me but hope these do well for Cobra

Why is nobody talking about these? I've been in the other thread for weeks and all they are talking about is the driver. I've yet to hear if the MIM Tour one lengths are coming to market or not.

I absolutely love the look of these and would test them against PXG and Ping, Titleist if I was in the market. I love Cobra stuff but it just doesn’t drive interest to the masses. I was talking to my club’s head pro and they’re not going to stock Cobra this year, only direct orders. 

Last year they sold almost no Cobra, like could count on one hand how many drivers they sold. I may be the only one I think playing a Radspeed. Only a few guys play the satin or copper forged tec.

I’m down for these. I’ve owned or tried just about every hollow-bodied blade (and every other “player’s distance” iron). The pics of the new Cobra look great!  
 

Recently tried Mizuno Pro 225 at my fitter. Surprisingly, my Honma T//World-X still feel (sound) better.  I like my Honma’s, but I’d like something a little sleeker. Don’t like the plastic backs of the Rogue ST Pro or the T-200 (and I don’t think either is forged). That leaves Srixon ZX4 (too clunky) and Ping i525 (I owned the 500’s and didn’t like them).  
 

So, I hope the new Cobras work. If only they’d get them out!

At least to me, it's half shocking.  We don't move Cobra a ton, but we have all of the fitting heads and can get it on demand.  Srixon on the other hand, we move a LOT of that.

I would 100% test these and see how they match up against my T200 irons (2021).
